The main reflecting mirror had a foreign body (or smudge) on it...poor quality control for such an expensive telescope.

Easy setup and alignment. Saturn, Jupiter, and the moon look incredible. My first telescope and now I’m hooked.

Second object I saw was Saturn, blew my mind, awesome! Very cool, way better than I expected. DO NOT BOTHER WITH AA BATTERIES, waste of batteries, buy the AC adapter! Trust me on that.

It does have nice optics on the main tube, and I was able to use it to take pictures of the moon. The "Finder scope" looks like a mini toilet paper tube, and it doesn't work for me to find anything. I tried buying a real finder scope, but it comes with no instructions and it is anything but clear how or where to mount it. I'm sure I could just pop by their offices, if I lived in California. I live in New York. The computerized drive has never worked.

Not the fault of the seller but the focus nob appeared damaged when received. Waiting for seller to return message.The focus nob is bent and is hard to turn in spots.Edit:Added more pictures.Telescope is unable to focus.Focus nob is off center and this is most likely the cause of the problem.I will have to send it in for warranty replacement/repairs.Very Unhappy with this product. I spent $100's on accessories and now I have to pay shipping to send the telescope in for repairs.
