I received this CD Player on January 27, 2025. I decided to buy it based on the good reviews on Amazon, and I'm so happy I did!!! It works great, is a beautiful design, has different modes, is very easy to use, and the sound quality is exceptional, etc., etc.!!! Also included was an offer to register it within ten days to get a lifetime warranty. Great communication from this company, too! Thank you Jenna!!!I highly recommend Monodeal and this awesome portable compact CD Player!!!

We have always had CD players in our cars; however, after an unforeseen incident put us in a rental car, we found that newer vehicles no longer come with them, and seeing as that we would be using this car for a few months, we ordered this little player to use in it.The 2021 Nissan Versa has an Aux port, which works perfectly with this unit; the sound is clear and beautiful and the player doesn’t skip while driving, either. The only thing I had to learn was that since this is an external device, upon shutting off the car, the player will continue to run the CD till it ends; you do not hear any music, as the cars speakers are off, but it is playing inside the device regardless. If you flip the power switch to off, then turn it back on when you restart the vehicle, the CD will continue from the last point you were at when you turned it off; if you press Stop instead of switching off, then the Cd will start over when turned back on.Also, after the last song plays on the CD you have to press Play to start it again; it doesn’t just start over on its own.I don’t find any of these things to be a problem or flaw, however, as the player does exactly what it’s intended to do; the only time I had any problem was when playing a CD that was burned for us at a Borders Book store — it stopped playing after a song, and I had to advance it by pressing the forward button, after which it continued without further issue. That said, I don’t believe this to be a fault with the player — more likely something in the CD’s format is the issue.I haven’t used it as a stand alone device where the sound comes out of the player’s speakers, or with headphones.Regarding battery life, it’s pretty decent, and I can plug the charging cable into one of the Car’s USB ports even while the CD is playing. We are very pleased with this CD player, and it will be used even after we return the rental, as we will be purchasing a similar car.I do NOT recommend leaving the player in the car while the weather is hot, as it does have a battery in it.We purchased a zippered case which fits the player nicely, along with its cords and headphones.I highly recommend this little player to anyone who has a car without one; it’s easy to use, requires no pairing when using the Aux cable, and works well.

I had been looking for quite some time for a compact CD player which also played MP3 CDs. A bonus was the fact that this CD Player has outstanding sound quality and the many features: Bluetooth, FM Transmitter, EQ effect, play programming, are very useful. I am very pleased with my purchase!

The process of buying mono deal worked perfectly arriving on time and in good condition. Does CD player has all the aspects I desired for one. It has rechargeable battery and actual speaker and Bluetooth capability. A very nice appearance and shape I can carry it as easily as a round CD player.

This CD player is adequate for my need. I have an extensive CD music collection and no way to play it anymore, since cars are no longer manufactured with CD players. This at least lets me listen to my music, including many rare ones from the merchandise tables at live performances that will never be streamed. The built in speakers are not great, but pairing the player with a Bluetooth speaker solves that problem. So far (I have just had it for one week), it plays CDs without skipping, and the user interface is simple and intuitive. Eventually, I will get most of my CD's on a streaming platform, but for now, this is a good interim solution.

I am surprised how well the CD player performs in my car. I have an old car and the built in CD player has issues. The sound from this new CD player if very clear and the player easy to use. The connection for earphones works well. I am happy with this.

Excellent product (Monodeal MD602 Bluetooth CD Player) for the purposes I purchased it:Sound Quality and Volume:Depends on method you use to listen. EXCEPTIONAL sound quality listening to various classical music via wired connection using my Philips SHP9500s. I mean to say, this particular open air over ears headphones are excellent, and this CD player does nothing to diminish their sound quality (absolutely love this combo). Depending on how you tweak the app settings for the Airpods Pro (gen 2) on your iphone before transferring use of the Airpods to the MD602 CD Player, it can give a very good sound quality to the same classical music (I used the same classical music CDs for my test-music-of-choice comparison). I do not know if this is a common degradation in all situations, whereby wired is always superior to wireless due to the limitations of any bluetooth technology at this time, but that was the case here. In fairness, even when I listen to classical music on my iphone through the Airpods Pro (gen 2), I am never as satisfied with the sound quality nuances of the instrumentation. So, that is what it is, and very likely unrelated to the type of bluetooth technology in this particular CD player. Now, as far as the on-board CD Player speakers; they are as one would expect due to the size limitations of the speakers used in a CD player that is meant to be portable. Is it bad? No. Is it really good? No. Does it serve my needs when I do not want to use any headphones? Yes, with the caveat that peak volume may be lower than desired depending on the recordings you are listening to. What I can say is that there is a huge difference in volume level intensity when listening to the on-board speakers vs either option mentioned above for headphones (meaning, I rarely go above level 2-5 volume with headphones, but find myself pushing the volume level up to max at 20 with listening using the on-board speakers). For my personal uses, this CD Player very easily meets my expectations in the sound department, but I do wish the peak volume level when listening through the on-board speakers went up to 25-30 (although, the distortion level might increase since the size of the speakers affects this issue). It does have a button ("eq" for equalizer) which allows you to transition mode of sound, but I only found 2 options useful, the remainder seem to muffle the classical music. So, this feature is not all that useful, tbh.Wired Headphone Connection:As per above. What is really fun about this MD602 CD player is that it has 2 ports for 2 wired headphones to be used at the same time with equal sound quality and volume. This was a fun feature, because I have been forever trying to more accurately compare my Philips vs Sennheiser open-air headphones at the same exact time. However, the MOST fun discovery was that you can have 3 people listening at once - 2 people via 2 separate wired headphones and the 3rd person via Bluetooth-connected headphones. The sound quality and volume situation described above when you do this is not altered from my review above for each modality.Bluetooth Connection to Airpods Pro (gen 2):Easy. I have had no issues at all. Because the Airpods Pro (gen 2) do NOT have the multi-device connection feature, you may have to occasionally "reboot" connection when going from other devices back to the MD602 CD Player, but nothing major. NOTE: this bluetooth is for connection to wireless bluetooth-capable headphones - from the descriptions, it is not meant to be able to connect to vehicle's speakers (my car is old and does not have bluetooth speakers, so cannot comment further).Options for Vehicle Speaker Connections:They include a 3.5 mm AUX cable to connect directly to your car's speakers (my 20+ year old car does not have this feature, so cannot comment). However, the feature I did buy this specifically for is to connect via radio stations to listen to my CD's whilst driving (specifically because my car's native CD player often is not able to read half the CDs I want to listen to, which did not get fixed when I had them exchange it under warranty back in the hay-day). Works well enough to satiate my needs, but sound integrity of instrumentation with the same classical music used above will depend on how good that radio station connection in your area might be. My car is super old, so I do not have the problem some newer cars have which limits the driver's ability to get to the majority of the station options this CD Player radio transmitter uses.Reading Various CDs:No issues so far (unlike my Car's native CD player). At least to date, I have not encountered a CD, including ones in which music was burned, to play.Battery Life:Meets my needs. I get about 8 hours of continuous use before I have to plug it in for charging. I really, really love that I can continue to listen while it is charging. Excellent feature one would not even think about until your battery needs recharging, lol - it was a pleasant surprise. It comes with a charging wire, uses the C-type (same as my Samsung Note 20), so that's convenient for me, since I have a charging wire with interchangeable heads for my Apple products and Samsung products.Physical Features:I have owned "sturdier" CD players back 20 years ago, so I would not say this is the sturdiest, but it is quite well made. I do not use it outside the house (eg, jogging/walking/etc), and I do not imagine it could withstand a proper drop to cement sidewalk without damage. However, in my opinion, the base is very well-made with the weakest point if it suffered a fall being the door positioned on the top (which, btw opens upward). Honestly, though, I absolutely love the rounded square design, the very sturdy base and sturdy rubber posts on the bottom (as of 1-2-2023, the amazon picture does not show the rubber pieces in, but it does have them and they do not feel cheap at all). I personally enjoy its minimalistic aesthetic and how much easier it is to hold in one's hand far more than the round CD players I've owned years ago.- "Pause" button works very well, keeps you where you left off when you resume.- "Hold" button works well, I suppose - I am not really sure what people usually use it for, as I never bothered with it in the past, but upon trying it, it seemed to do what one would expect something called a "hold" button is supposed to do.- No skipping at all accidental minor bumps here-and-there, and with my test shake I gave it, but again, I am not taking it out jogging/etc.Warranty:A card is included that tells you to email them to get a Certificate of Lifetime Warranty emailed back to you, which I received immediately after emailing them. Obviously, I have not had a need to use it as of yet, so cannot comment on that level of customer care.Final Consensus:I LOVE this Monodeal MD602 CD Player at the price I purchased it (there was an Amazone $20 coupon on the usual $76 price tag). I am planning to purchase a second as a gift to a friend once I can nab it for a similar price. As much as I love it, I would not purchase it for that full price at this time - not because "there are better options out there", but rather because I personally would never purchase any CD player for such a price.FYI, I did receive an email from the company that is offering one of four moderate gift options (eg, Monodeal Carrying Case, $8 Amazon Gift Card, various string lights, electronic item locator) if I leave a review (to be given after they confirm if I actually left a review). However, this review would not have been any different had they not. I have never used any other Monodeal products, but so far, I have not been given a reason to avoid this company to date, which is a huge positive in my book given today's market of crappy products and crappy companies' version of "customer service".
