The built in camera battery charge is terrible even a 1080p. So any extended filming, demands an battery bank of some sort. This does it pretty well. My only complaint is that this battery is huge! It is almost the size of the camera itself. It doesn't weigh much, but holding it in any stand or selfie stick changes the angle. You can adjust, but it still looks jumpy between shots.
