My cats LOVE this! They don’t hang out with me as much anymore because they’re always on this stand.

My cat absolutely loves this perch! I actually have it up against the wall next to my table, so rather than sitting on the table like she always did, she has accepted the perch as her new throne. It was easy enough for an inept person (me) to put together - all the tools are provided, which was nice. It's very stable (yes, it sticks to the wall) and looks good. It's nice because you can make it as tall or short as you want - I only used two of the three poles. But like I said, it was a total win because my cat chooses it over laying on my table!

I received this GreenPetopia Cat Window Perch in September 2024. I received the Sisal version. The perch arrives disassembled and packed in a box with dimensions 13-1/4" width, 7" height, and 16" length. Upon inspection of the parts I didn't notice any broken parts or manufacturing defects. There were not any kind of strong smells to any of the parts. All the perch bed parts appear to be constructed of a compressed fiber board type of material. The surfaces had a nice smooth simulated wood grain appearance. The edges appear to be just sanded smooth and don't have any kind of simulated wood grain laminate on them. However the sanded edges still look ok and don't detract from the overall appearance. I do wonder if the unfinished sanded edges may be susceptible to moisture and may start expanding if exposed to water. However I don't plan to be exposing the perch to any water so this should be fine. The perch comes with (3) sisal wrapped rectangular posts and you can use however many of those posts that you want. There is a ribbon that covers all the edges of the sisal wrap which is a nice touch. I positioned the posts so the ribbon that runs along the vertical edge of the posts was towards the back so I wouldn't see it. The dimensions of each post are 15-3/4" height, 3-3/4" width, and 3-3/4" depth. The perch comes with clear to understand illustrated instructions. At the time I received the perch, on the Amazon product page there was a video on how to put the perch together and the video is very clear and I would recommend taking a look at it before assembling. The perch I received came with extra bolts and screws so that is always nice to have. There is also an included hex/Philips driver tool so you don't need to have your own tools however I ended up using my electric screw driver to make assembly quicker.I have low windows so I only needed to use 2 of the rectangular posts. The perch is attached to a window using 2 included very large suction cups. The suction is very strong and after I attached the perch to my window it had no problems supporting my full sized cats. You do absolutely need to attach the perch to a window or wall since it easily falls over if you don't do that. After attaching the perch to my window I measured the distance from the window to the back of the rectangular sisal wrapped post and it was about 12 inches. So that is about the max depth of your window bay that the perch can support. With the perch attached to my window I can't close my blinds all the way down. You will probably have a somewhat similar problem with curtains since the perch would be in the way of closing curtains. However the suction cups are attached to the perch using 2 large plastic nuts/knobs so you can easily unscrew them and remove the perch while leaving the suction cups attached to the window. You can then easily re-attach the perch to the suction cups whenever you open your curtains/blinds again.I have very large male cats who are fully grown and the perch supported them without any issues. My large cat when laying in the bed took up about two thirds of the space of it so there was plenty of space for him. The cushion for the bed does not have a lot of filling so it isn't very thick but for a cat perch I think it is sufficient.Overall I think this is a really well crafted and designed perch. There were no sharp edges anywhere and it looks like the designers spent time ensuring the perch was designed cat friendly.

I thought this would be cool and it is. Looks nice but not functional for my cat. He’s on the heavier side and he needs something to grip on the platform to pull himself up and the Velcro cushion just isn’t enough on the flat wood. Returned and went back to getting a typical cat tree with carpet attached.

My cat just won’t touch it. It’s cute and easy to put together. Seems sturdy once attached to the window. But he’s been so picky that he won’t really touch any cat trees soooo I will continue to throw money at him until he likes one. If I were a cat I would certainly enjoy it. The adjustable height is a nice touch.

Nice sturdy perch that sits atop very tall scratching post. Our cat likes to lay up high to rest, he has other cat trees/posts, but this one is his favorite. It can be moved to doors/windows/walls and the suction cups are the strongest I've ever seen. So stronthat sometimes I have difficulty getting it to "stay released" long enough to move or reposition, so Ive never once worried about our cat's safety. Not only that, it is naturally sturdy without the added suction. Lastly, its height adjustable, you can add/remove sections to suit your needs.
