So easy to install. I got it for my "regular" sized cat but my big girl found it first and loves it. Guess I need to get another!

I have to admit that I haven’t finished putting this perch together. I have had a major flare up of arthritis after re-injuring my hand and putting things together right now is just too painful; however, I did open the box and could tell the cat perch is top notch material! I went ahead and pulled out the rolled bedding as Lloyd the cat was watching me and placed the bedding on top of the box and placed it under a skirted table, temporarily. Well this has become one of Lloyd’s new favorite hangouts thanks to comfy bedding.As soon as the hand is better will get this perch together but can tell it deserves the kudos of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and5 sets of cat paws 🐾 🐾🐾🐾🐾!

This perch is well-made and sturdy, and the design is great for cats who love to lounge. Unfortunately, it didn’t work with our window, but the quality is solid, and it seems very comfortable. It’s easy to put together and would be a great choice for the right setup. Overall, still a good product!

Make sure to read & see photos of others reviews to get an idea of what your window seal needs to look like in order for this to work. Unfortunately it won’t work on my windows which was so disappointing because this is a really nice perch. The quality & comfort are great, instructions are clear & easy to folllow along, even the hardware is good quality & not made of cheap feeling materials. It’s also reasonably priced..I’ve purchased some for almost double the price & was just as nice as this one. If you have the correct window seal this seems like it will hold securely so no worries of accidents.I would definitely recommend

After getting it assembled, while looking at the window, the cat already jumped onto this thing. Impatient brat.Assembly was relatively simple, although I did the steps out of order and had to start back over. Once it was assembled, and I got the cat back out of it, it was very simple to set up on the window, adjust the legs, and tighten it down. My cat isn't the fattest ever, but she's pretty hefty, and a different window seat that relied on suction cups just couldn't handle her anymore. This one works perfectly and as mentioned, she seems quite comfortable in it. I haven't seen her use the scratching post, yet. Pretty happy with it, and she gets to chirp at the birds in luxury.

Update: After a week of having it in my kitties catio, one of the side rails broke and he fell to the bottom. He loves it so much my husband is creating new pieces to fit on our CnC that will be more durable. I’m just glad it didn’t injure poor Rolo. Until this issue is fixed, I don’t think it is safe.Initially, I ordered this for the window as it’s built but it turned out, my window track is just a bit too narrow for it to work where I wanted it. This turned out to be a blessing since I was also simultaneously looking for a good quality bed that my Rolo won’t be able to pull the bedding into his litter box (I don’t know why he does this, he is a strange one sometimes) while in his catio. He won’t be able to do this now since the comfy thick pad comes with heavy duty Velcro that attaches to the sling underneath.Although the window hammock came with instructions, it took a moment to get my bearings with it to figure out how to put it together. Once I did a parts check against the parts list, assembly only took about 5 minutes. Something you don’t see but I appreciate is the quality of the hardware which, is made of metal and not pot metal. The nuts for adjusting the stability slides are sunken in to the slot so my clever cat won’t be able to disassemble and swallow something. At first, I thought it might be problematic to have them recessed but since the nuts are square and the size of the slot, you can screw down the screws on the outside and the wooden slot will hold them in place as you go. So, as long as you only unscrew part way to remove it, you will never have an issue with them falling out. A very nice touch is the window perch came with a screwdriver and an Alan key so you won’t have to go to your set to then find you don’t have the size like a lot of other items I have purchased.As soon as my husband installed this cat hammock in Rolo’s catio, he immediately went in there and started attacking the sisal scratching post. He loves it! As a side note, if you want to purchase this for your catio, you will have to plan on attaching something to the bars for the stabilizers to rest on. Just FYI since I now think this is a great way to use this product. There’s nothing this nice on the market for a catio.6 stars if I could for overall quality construction of the wood, quality of the pet bed that can easily be removed for washing, and all the parts and tools included. Well thought execution of the sisal posts, and self petting fuzzy center ring.

First, definitely pay attention to the dimensions and requirements needed to successfully place this cat window perch. We only have one window in our house that doesn't have molding underneath it and, unfortunately I didn't take into account the faucet underneath where the bed would go and it won't fit there. However, I did try it on one of our windows that has a thin molding under it and the bed does work ok there. It is by no means perfect, but that is totally my fault. This window perch is made with really solid material and was very easy to put together. The bedding is super soft and I like that the bed is easily removeable from the base so you can clean it without having to take the perch out of the window. Definitely a great window cat perch.
