This pack of scratch protectors comes with 6 sheets, which were a bit smaller than I expected. I wanted to cover the back and sides of my leather chaise since my kittens have taken a little too much of an interest in it, but it took 5 sheets just to cover the back alone and I did not have enough to cover the sides. The sheets did go on easily, and I tried to peel one up 2 days later and I was able to peel it off easily without damaging the leather. These do make the furniture very shiny, but that's to be expected with plastic protectors. I have not had any problems with scratching since putting the protectors on so they do work, they're just very small sheets. I have seen other scratch protectors that come in a roll that you can cut to the length that you need, which seems more ideal if you have a large area to cover so that there are fewer seams, but if you have a small area to cover then these would be perfect.

My cat is two years old and scratched up my previous couch so I bought these to protect my new white leather couch for the past week and so far he hasn’t touch it! It seems to keep him from having any interest in scratching and sticks to his scratching pads. Installation was very easy. I don’t like that I have to essentially put stickers on my new couch but it looks better than cat scratches.

The furniture I had my cat had enjoyed scratching, how would I protect my new furniture was the concern. I chose to try these based on reviews and so far they have done the job. Easy to apply, visually clear.

This product was received as part of a promotion. I got this set of clear plastic sheet covers to try to deter our 7 month old kitten from scratching our furniture. First, it started with the upholstered bed frame. Then it moved to one of our leather recliners. We were pretty flustered because our older (almost 3 year old) orange tabby uses his scratching post and he calls it good. Not our kitten! I saw these and figured we’d give them a try. They’re pretty large pieces of clear plastic. They’re able to be custom-tailored to fit your needs, so you can cut out any shape/size of plastic you need. They stick well, and they’re also able to be pulled off then reapplied again. It doesn’t leave any yucky residue behind, and the clear plastic sticks well. After trying to scratch, the kitten loses interest and moves on to something else like the scratching post. It works like it needs to.

Easy to apply avs to cut how needed. Does remove and reapply easily. Great for my new leather couch and recliner.
