My cat recently had surgery. When i got her home, she was very agitated with the cone. I remembered that I bought this, and lucky I did. My cat is now resting comfortably, recovering, while I'm assured that she can't reach her incision site.

6 mo old, 4 lb kitten; The neck opening stretched out immediately with a size Small, but the body of the garment held shape and stayed snapped. I also got it in a size Medium, and found the Medium was a better fit for my kitten, no issues. The fabric was soft tshirt knit, and I liked that it was a neutral color and without silly designs.

Got both S & M size for my 4 months old, 2 kilo kitten. M is more comfortable to her but she managed to wriggle out of it. S is fitting but restricted her movements quite a lot causing her to fall backwards a few times. I think the problem is the neck area and after cutting off the string at the collar, she moved better in it and could curl up to sleep. Not sure about toileting as she did not (want to) use the litter tray during the few hours she was in it before I switched her back to e-collar. Overall I am happy with the products.

Recomiendo 100%.

10/10! I only wish it had come in the mail earlier!!! Unfortunately not a replacement for the cone in our case, though. My cat escaped the backyard just over a week ago, and got into a fight with something very large, likely a dog. He needed multiple major surgeries on his abdomen, including a hernia repair, and some repairs to muscles on his leg. The abdominal wounds were very infected, so he also required stents for a week to drain them. His surgeon strongly recommended we keep an infant onesie on him along with the ecollar (aka the cone of shame). After one week of delicately fighting with an injured cat to get the onesie on, finding in the morning that he'd slipped out of the onesie again, and when I did get it to stay, cleaning up the messes when he pooped and peed all over it regardless of how I cut the bottom... I can't recommend this item enough. The cat pictured is just over a year old, his body is approximately 15 inches from neck to tail. Weight is approximately 13.5lbs, and he is wearing a Large. It fits well, thankfully with lots of stretch; enough that I can fit a large absorbent surgical dressing pad inside over his tummy, and he can use the litter box unhindered. The leg part is not irritating the wound on his left leg/flank either. If there were a size larger, it might fit him a little better because of his length; the neck part is sliding down and the two snaps closest to the base of his tail aren't fastened. However, it is still secure, he can't get out of it, he's not even trying, and he's more comfortable than he's been in over a week.I might add, my cats are large. If you have a larger cat or larger breed cat like a Maine Coon, Siberian, Norwegian Forest cat, etc., I might seek out a similar suit that is intended for smaller dogs - two of my four definitely would not fit in this particular suit if they needed one (God forbid!) For most cats, though, this product is phenomenal. After we recover from the vet bills, I plan to purchase some extras and donate them to the animal hospital so that nobody else needs to go through the nightmare of getting an angry, hurt cat into a baby onesie!!!!!

My poor Romeo has an allergy and his belly got totally broken out -- really bad, puss, even blood. And he was obsessively licking it, making it worse. The vet wanted to give him one of those awful plastic cones -- no, no, no!!!! So, the vet sold me an overpriced onesy made of cheap material which was designed for dogs, not cats. (I'm sure the vendor told them it was for either animal. It's not. The back end, past the rear legs, went on for several inches -- so it got into the litter box mess. Horrible. I had to keep washing it in hot water, which destroyed the fabric.)I finally looked on Amazon and based on all the good reviews, got this one. Oh, what a breath of fresh air. It's cut out where it can be, so he can breath and not be so constricted. It's easy to put on (as much as putting anything on a cat can be "easy") and it is designed perfectly for a cat --- complete tummy coverage, but plenty open enough not to have any litter box accidents. Thank you!And so stylish! My only complaint is that it was not available for 1 day shipping. When you need it, you need it immediately. Maybe it normally is available quickly, but for us, this happened during the big Covid-19 scare, so all shipping is a bit slower than usual. Well, despite that, we got it in about 5 days and I'm so grateful. The fabric is soft and smooth, but feels sturdy so he probably can't wiggle out of it. The 5% spandex gives it just the right amount of stretch. The edges are finished nicely.Oh, I wish the manufacturer would add the following colors and fabrics (a big omission IMO):-- leopard print (duh, it's for cats!)-- all black (for the hipster cats)-- stripes (like Puss n Boots pirate)-- most glaring omission is solid oilive green (Hello, most cats had green/gold eyes. Not blue -- that's pretty rare)Personally, I would never put my adult cat into something that looks like a child's pajamas. Cats have dignity, you know!Anyway, I'm so glad we got this. So so glad. Now his tummy is healing really nicely!Oh, I was worried about patting him with a bulky velcro closure in the back. Good news! It's not velcro. They must have improved the design and forgot to update the listing. The closure in back is actually a very flat row of good snaps. Easy to pat. Won't pop open by mistake. Purr.PS the sizing chart is accurate. Romeo weights 13.8 lb and the large fits him perfectly.
