Very good tools. Heavy and sturdy. Good price! Will definitely buy Casoman tools in the future.

My rating reflects the juxtaposition of the quality and price, and of tool usability for my application. So my 12 yr old front load clothes washer couldn't balance a regular load anymore and I discovered that this or excessive 'walking' can be caused by worn shock absorbers. Who knew? In order to pinch the tabs in and help wrestle the large plastic pins from the top and bottom of the shock absorbers (yes, easy-peasy, though very very awkward), I looked for the (car) shock plug wrench recommended by a reviewer (of a shock absorber), but just couldn't justify $40 for a tool, though well made, that I would use, maybe, once in a blue moon, if ever again. I came across this set of (3) different sizes for about half the price of that single one, and while I usually opt to shell out the money for a better tool (because your tools take care of you), it is worth considering where and when to spend the extra bucks. These tools have a decent enough build quality. The machining is ok, it is not particularly rough or smooth. They have handle covers that look properly heat shrinked on so they don't slide around, that have a texture that is not unpleasant. The inside working portion of the tools (sorry - I don't know the lingo) are serrated from the tips to maybe half way down the working plier section. They do not have a spring on the handle to help keep it in the open position, if that is important in your application; I would have preferred the spring, but was able to work with it without too much trouble (though at one point I pinched a finger, which is still healing). It was also nice having a choice between the (3) sizes. I was able to save a ton of money ($1k for a new washer or many hundreds for a repairman, as opposed to a few hundred for the OEM shock absorbers [direct from the manufacturer at about triple the price, but I don't want to do this again any time soon so I didn't want cheap 3rd party struts], these wrenches, and a few odds and ends [extran pins - JIC, and a tiny bit of white lithium to help the pins slide back in - so glad I had that, it was hard to do even with a hammer!]). My son had to do the same repair for his washer, and while I spent a few hours, he ended up using most of his Sunday (well, he did end up having to go in from the top [instead of the back - his a Samsung as opposed to mine, an LG] and the struts are on the bottom; I don't know if having these tools would have negated that). I did also get a spring expander in case I had to go in from the front as well, but ended up not needing to since I was able to prop the back legs up a bit with a couple of 2x4's.All in all, if I was going to use these to make a living with, or on a regular basis, I might want something of a bit better quality. But if you are like me and don't expect to use them very often, or are just starting out, these tools should take care of you just fine.

Was very impressed with the quality of these hose pliers. Three different sizes cover most vacuum and coolant hoses on my F250 Superduty 6.7 ltr diesel. Making removal a breeze. The grip is non slipping and the long pliers make unaccessable accessible.
