I have a Jandy/Zodiac sftm25 sand filter 8 years old with 1.5 inch piping and fittings. The 7-way multiport valve crumbled and broke all the way down the shaft due to being hammered by UV rays for 8 yrs. This filter model is discontinued and the replacement models sftm22 and sftm25 multiport valves will not fit my older model. The Jandy multiport valve for my model is discontinued... Nobody had it. On a gamble I ordered this Carvin because pictures of it looked identical. Well it is identical to my sftm25 7way valve. Even the lettering on the label head for filter port settings is identical. I installed without having to change any piping or fittings. I will have run it awhile judge durability but so far so good. No leaks. Functions perfectly. Beware that multiple sellers on Amazon sell this exact valve and some are charging almost twice the price. I paid $153 in July of 2024.

It’s not a 7 way valve. It’s a 6 way. The product itself works well. But I paid for a 7way valve. I noticed when I went to wintering. It’s on the top sticker but it only has 6 way option.

Pool guy glued fittings in my valve so when a pipe broke, I had to get a new filter valve. This fits perfectly.
