This product did a great job freshening the carpet and left a pleasant fresh smell. However, had to get a much stronger product to handle the cat smell.

I have bought this item 2 different times, with several different fragrances each time.None of them had any scent at all. I have used this in years past for a very long time. I thought my first order was just a bad batch, but sadly, that was not true. No fragrance in any of them. Just basically puts white powder on your carpet before you vacuum it.Extremely disappointing

The previous tenant had cats. Management replaced the carpet but not the padding underneath. This product removed the remnants of the objectionable cat odors.
