Best used to restore, clean and season a cast iron skillet - Here's How it Works!
Step 1 - Clean with Cast Iron Scrub
For cast iron that has rust damage or food that is burnt on, use the cast iron scrub. Add 1-2 tablespoons of cast iron scrub and a little bit of water. Scrub using a sponge or microfiber cloth to create a paste until all residue is loose, rinse clean.
Step 2 - Wash with Cast Iron Soap
Wash your cast iron cookware with our cast iron soap to remove any left-over food residues and unwanted grease. Add 1-2 tablespoons of cast iron soap and a bit of water. Wash using a sponge or microfiber cloth to create suds. Rinse clean and dry completely.
Step 3 - Season with Cast Iron Oil
Pour two tablespoons of cast iron oil onto the skillet or cookware and use a microfiber cloth to work the oil into the cast iron. Let sit and dry for a few hours before use. No need to put in the oven, the seasoning will develop over time as you continue to use these products.

I used the product to clean a grill that I have had for about 15 years. Following the instructions. A stovetop grill that I love but reluctant to use because of cleanup (2 sides).Absolutely amazing. My old grill is actually nonstick after using this product just the way cast iron cookware should be when properly seasoned.

My mom has had a cast iron skillet for ages and I bought this set to give it a clean and season again. She also recently bought a cast iron skillet that stated it was seasoned but not really. I used the products on both skillets and I am so glad I did. They look great and still work well even after washing a bit with the soap which I know most people who own cast iron skillets try not do often because of the “seasoning”. I just have to say, I feel confident now that it looks better, smooth on the cook area and also nice and seasoned still. I would recommend this product to anyone with a cast iron skillet that really wants to care for your skillet. I actually have recommended it to a friend who is dropping by tomorrow. I am going to show her the finished products. LOL. You won’t go wrong by getting this set.

If you own American made cast iron cookware, (can’t speak for inferior, cheaper cast iron), this system is great for keeping them in top shape. I had previously washed mine with Dawn, that I routinely use for all dishes, but would have to re-season after each wash. (Not a fan of just scraping & rinsing off, esp after frying meats). This liquid soap though is gentle, yet an effective cleanser. The salt scrub is great for removing any stubborn stains or rust spots & helps restore the finish when used with the seasoning oil, as needed. ( I use a cast iron chainmail scrubber, also). A little goes a long way too, so a good value for the money. Great products, wish I had found them sooner!

This is my second set of this product. It's easy to use: scrub first, soap and then the oil. I have my great grandma's cast iron pans and have tried a few different ways to clean them in the past, but prefer these products. I even bring them camping for fire pit cooking and the clean up is so easy.

first time I actually used cast-iron soap. It really did a great job of cleaning. It didn’t need to use the scrub yet and the cast-iron oil is as good as any oil for making sure it’s seasoned and does not rust so far. Excellent products will give more later.

Finally!No more scrubbing like a maniac cleaning blood off of a murder scene to get my pans clean. Wow!The scrub stuff is especially useful. I use it on cast iron and actually for any kind of stained and extra-dirty metal (obviously NOT non-stick stuff lol).It just works, and you need a very tiny amount, so it will last a long time. The oil is great, I leave the pan at a minimum with a little bit of it every time I can see the seasoning getting scrapped, which is only once in awhile for the occasional burnt egg or steak (yikes)... we're all humans!No need for new pans with this, your grandma's one as as good as new again!

This is an amazing set for keeping cast iron in tip top shape. Hubby has also started using these on his blackstone grill and they worked just as good for him too. The lemon smell for the soap and scrub makes using these a delight. The scrub and soap leave no funky taste or smell once rinsed from the pan.I use the scrub first, but I use less than the recommended amount on the bottle and add more if the pan still needs it. I use a chain mail cleaning tool along with the scrub and know when to job is done the pan is smooth and most of the scrub has dissolved in the little bit of warm water that was in the pan. The amount of water will depend on the size of the pan but I typically add about enough to not even cover the entire base of the pan. Rinse and then go to next step.I follow this up with a small amount of soap and a wet sponge. Again just adding enough water to aid the soap but not dilute it so much it becomes ineffective. Rinse and then throughly dry the pan.I use about a 1/4 tsp of oil to do my entire 13 inch frying pan with a small piece of paper towel. Once this is done my pans look like the well loved cast iron pans they are without losing the hard earned seasoning they deserve.The only reason why I gave 4 stars is the size. For the price these size are small. The scrub and soap will go first and if I would have used the recommended amounts I would have run out very quickly even if hubby wouldn’t have used it. While I would like to get more, until the price comes down I will have to find something else.

Got this set to clean my cast iron grill/griddle I use for camping. There are lots of natural ingredients within this set so this probably helps the cast iron last overtime.I was impressed with the soap as it took off a lot of grease and hard spots that were stuck to it. The cast iron scrub helped a lot with the rusty areas but I do wish it did more. The oil works well and hope that it would help keep the cast iron over the winter.Glad I purchased this just wish it did more for the rust.
