Using for my kitchen compost. Very sturdy and capacious (1 gallon size). Lid is hard to get on and off but expect it is just stiffer in the beginning.

This is a great container to store Demerara sugar or organic cane sugar. It is airtight and will keep the sugar well.

This container are made of very good thick plastic and will last a long time. I didn't experience any leaking issues but I've used it only a couple of times so far.

I had been using Tupperware and they were so perfect until they wore out. I needed the right size replacement. Saw these and the measurements seemed perfect. I LOVE them! They fit my filters great! Store a nice amount of coffee and the lids seal nicely. They stack and fit in my coffee cupboard great and I just love the labels I put on them. Def recommend!

I originally ordered this product so I could have a clear unbreakable vessel with plenty of room for my sourdough starter to rise, and a second one to store my discard in the refrigerator for later use in discard recipes. What makes these vessels so useful for the sourdough starter is that there is no shoulder on the container so I am able to totally scrape down the inside leaving no residue under the neck of the container. I was unable to find one with marked graduations so I was able to paint the measures myself with paint pens. So far that has worked well but I don't know how it will stand up to washing, suppose I will be hand washing them to save the paint even though they are supposed to be dishwasher safe. The lids for these vessels are much thicker than I would have imagined and they too are dishwasher safe. I think they're going to last for a good long time. To be honest I did not need such large containers, these are two and a half quarts each. I would have rather had a 1.25 -1.5 quart. They do make these but they are just as wide as the two and a half quart size, and half as tall. I would rather have them smaller in diameter. I am very pleased with the quality of the product and I see no reason they shouldn't last for years to come even after I give up making sourdough bread and use them for something else. They would actually make great canisters for storing flour, sugar, coffee etc.
