I bought the Freecom. The units are just about 3 years old and the batteries died. Contacted Cardo, was told I'm sorry you CAN NOT REPLACE THE BATTERIES BECAUSE TH UNITS ARE WATERPROOF! I guess being waterproof is more important the being able to service the unit.

I bought and installed the 4x in my helmet. As soon as I turned it on realized that left speaker is not working at all. Contacted amazon they say I have to talk to cardo. E-mailed a cardo official dealer in miami and they say I have to talk to amazon because I bought the item via amazon. So I sent 3 emails to cardo support and they did not even reply any of them. Triying to use the iyem with one speaker only. Thank you Cardo and thank you amazon. This was my last purchase from both of you guys.

The instructions provider with a product that not very clear or sufficient. And definitely not intuitive. Trying to get a hold of support is a nightmare, and when you do get a hold of them, at least the one that I was able to speak to, treated me like I'm an idiot and that I should know these things.I asked my question for the issue that I was trying to address, and instead of answering my question she went on to rattle on about something totally irrelevant that had nothing to do with the question that I asked.This company used to be good with support and a good product. But they have gone downhill on the support.I hope I don't need support again because I don't know if I can handle another episode of being lectured and given irrelevant information.
