My wife and I have used these in our motorcycle helmets for 8 years and still going strong. I bought this one as a backup in the event that one of our two fails. The battery life of about 7 hours is good enough for us and only a few times has gone dead before we have end our day on the bike. Once connected, the devices stay connected. I should note that we have never tried to use these with more than just the two of us connected and I seldom pair to my phone or other bluetooth device. For our use though they work great and they improve safety by allowing us to communicate on the road.

It’s great I can hear my music clear the only thing I would do is upgrade the mic so during rides I could be heard a lot clearer but perfect for my needs

J'utilise le SENA SMH5D-10 et je peux affirmer que c'est un excellent produit avec un bon rapport qualité-prix. Il y a plusieurs aspects positifs à souligner :L'installation est l'un des points forts. Elle est simple et directe, rendant le processus vraiment facile. J'ai apprécié de ne pas avoir à passer des heures à comprendre comment tout mettre en place.Le couplage Bluetooth est également un jeu d'enfant. C'est rapide, intuitif, et je n'ai eu aucun problème pour connecter mon appareil. Les fonctionnalités sont faciles à comprendre et à mémoriser, ce qui rend l'utilisation de cet intercom très agréable.La communication est claire et nette. J'ai été impressionné par la qualité de l'audio lors des appels, ce qui est essentiel lors des trajets à moto.Cependant, un petit bémol à noter : le volume de l'intercom est un peu faible, surtout si vous avez un casque qui n'est pas très bien insonorisé. Cela peut être un peu délicat lors de voyages bruyants ou à grande vitesse.Malgré cela, je recommande fortement le SENA SMH5D-10 à ceux qui recherchent un intercom duo simple à utiliser et économique. Pour son prix, il offre une performance exceptionnelle et devrait certainement être considéré par tous ceux qui cherchent à améliorer leur expérience moto.

Intercom good for the rider but very poor from rider to pillion, (Cant hear after 15mph) contacted supplier and was told to download updates, I did so, and there is no difference, seller does not return emails anymore, no backup, no returns and no replacement offered.

I have the slightly older model of this which is brilliant but has a terrible battery bug, where it will always drain from full to dead in about 3 days even when turned off. It appears the problem has been fixed in this version. Both units are extremely reliable, instantly reconnecting over Bluetooth to my phone (or to each other) instantly every time they're turned on. The sound quality is very good (both send and receive) and are pretty useable up to about 60mph, although to be far, that's more about the helmet, and I've only got a mid range helmet. The build quality is very good and they are definitely waterproof - I've been in a lot of heavy rain with my original one without any issues. There are much cheaper units out there but I really rate the reliability of these.

I used this for about a month before one of the wires broke. I tried splicing it, but the wires for this set up are like strands of hair. they just break no matter how gentle you are. I think they do it on purpose so you have to buy a new one or buy their spare parts.

Acquistati attraverso il programma di prodotti ricondizionati ho ottenuto uno sconto del 20% per un prodotto in effetti nuovo.Cercavo un accessorio per usare il telefono in moto e visto il fallimento dei classici auricolari, non si sente nulla, mi sono deciso per l'interfono ma non volevo investire molto.Questo prodotto mi è stato consigliato in un negozio di accessori per moto come il minimo per avere un prodotto funzionale.Per il montaggio occorre un pò di pazienza specie con i casi jet e soprattutto con imbottiture non rimovibili. Gli altoparlanti sono di generose dimensioni ma non infastidiscono e aderiscono bene al tessuto del casco; nel caso sono presenti adesivi per fissarli direttamente alla calotta e anche degli spessori se risultassero troppo distanti dall'orecchio.Anche il microfono trova una collocazione più o meno sporgente in funzione del punto in cui si riesce a fissare la base. Anche qui sono presenti gli adesivi.L'unità si può fissare con un morsetto alla base o incollare a lato della calotta. L'unità è sfilabile (con fatica), ed è piuttosto sporgente anche per via della grossa manopola che regola il volume e ha anche la funzione di tasto. Questo penso consenta di operare agevolmente anche con i guanti.La connessione con il telefono è stata immediata e facile , più complessa tra i due auricolari forse per colpa della poca pazienza ma anche per le istruzioni veramente stringate. Esiste però on line un manuale ma non l'ho ancora cercato.Premetto che ne faccio un uso cittadino quindi a bassa velocità. L'audio sia telefonico che tra gli apparecchi è buono: nitido e sufficientemente forte. La musica non è male ma certo non sono Hi-Fi.Una limitazione è il numero di apparati connettibili: solo quattro.Nel complesso lo definirei un buon prodotto, ben fatto e curato nei particolari ;ne sono soddisfatto. Probabilmente ci sarà di meglio ma dubito a questo prezzo.

The install was pretty straightforward. I did have a little trouble getting the boom mic arm to fit behind the padding. The noise cancelling is really good from what my wife says! I don't need to yell to talk and the speakers are plenty loud enough. They are really tinny and have no bass at all, so depending on what you're listening too you will probably end up turning the sound down a bit! I can hear my music over my R7 with an M4 muffler at speed so it's definitely got enough volume. I have never used it for comms and will probably upgrade to a model with better speakers in the near future.
