Furniture saver! I have 2 of these particular items. I place the scratcher in places I know my cats frequent and will use anything near by (even the bedroom furniture 🫣).

WAY too difficult for me to put together apparently. It took me forever to assemble this scratchy. I had to keep undoing what I did. It literally took me like 30 minutes. I was in tears. But I finally got it somewhat assembled. I like that it's taller than most of the scratchies I buy. Cats do really like to stand and stretch to scratch. It's a little narrower than I would like. But it's cardboard. And cats love to scratch cardboard. They like it so I guess the frustrated tears were worth it.

I run a rescue so this gets very heavy usage in the cat rooms so it will likely only last a few days but it was easy to put together and seems to be holding together well for now

This cat scratcher was a hit for my cats right out of the box! As soon as I put the thing together, they were all over it! It is very convenient for setting up against furniture where cats tend to scratch, that way you can try to avoid the almost inevitable furniture ruin that your cat seemingly has planned for it. It is made of cardboard, making it easy and pleasant for cats to scratch away at. They provide you with more than enough screws to build it just in case you lose one, two, or even more. I think I had about an extra 5 or 6 screws leftover when I was completely finished building it. Speaking of building, they provide you with a picture guide that is easy to follow. They also give you a little tool for screwing in the plastic screws, although I found the tool to be more of a pain than anything. I found that by screwing each screw in most of the way by hand and then tightening them up with the tool at the end was much easier. The tool is just an awkward sort of shape I think. They are even kind enough to provide you with a small, almost sample sized bag of of cat nip that I just ended up pouring out all over the board to make the scratcher more attractive. However, as I mentioned at the beginning of my review.... my cats had no problem taking a liking to this scratcher! Anyway, we were much overdue on getting a new one of these splendid scratchers for our kitties to attack, and I am super happy with the quality of this one that we finally now have for our crazy cats to enjoy!
