My cat loves this box. She loves all boxes but I love this because I don’t have the mess that most cat scratchers leave. The box keeps the mess inside and it’s easy to clean out the cardboard bits.

It's a nice big box with a built in scratch pad. They play in it and sleep in it.

It's well-made and large but not too large for my 15 lb. cat. Unfortunately, she isn't happy enough to use it and prefers the first box she uses every day. Her favorite is a bit lower and I think she's just more comfortable using one that's been here for a few month. Maybe one day she will be comfortable in this new box.

This sturdy cat scratcher box is great. My cat, Ozzie, just loves it. The box is pretty thick, similar to a computer paper box, sturdy, and easy for him to use. The best feature is that the bottom includes a scratch plate for him to use. He will scratch there and not on my furniture. He plays in there too. It’s the perfect size for him too. Comfortable and functions as it should! Love it.

Minor assembly required. Nice size for a 9-11 lb cat. The scratch pad is easily replaceable (sold by same company) as the cat(s) shred it over time. Sprinkle the included catnip on the pad and enjoy watching your pet. Mine loved it.

I have two cats and one is much bigger than the other, even though they are brothers. I like the fact that this is extra wide and deep. Aside from the scratch pad, my cats love to climb in it to relax.They went nuts with the catnip I put in that came with the scratch pad. I wish more than just a little sprinkle came with it. Need to purchase more. They do use it to scratch every single morning.The box did not come with directions how to assemble, ,but if you look at the picture of it that comes with the box, it was fairly easy to figure out. Once you assemble, it is quite sturdy.The best part, it is. a nice blue, and does go with my decor, not tacky looking but very attractive!

The product is as described. Looks good. Has cute holes for playful paws. It arrives folded (like an archive box) and you put it together with tabs fitting into pre-cut slots. Suggest tabs be more pronounced as they didn't want to stay in place and kept slipping out. Oh, and it arrived in a smaller box.My cats loved the box it arrived in. They fought over that with two of them piled into it. After assembling the actual product and putting in the scratch pad - plus liberally dressing it with the included catnip - the cats loved it and hopped right in. To play. And then sleep. And bring in their toys. And play some more.Scratching? Naaaah, they weren't interested in that. I feel sure they weren't interested because it's a box. They've always loved boxes for play and sleeping (and the obvious pooping boxes, thank goodness they've not done that in this box but one had "that look" and I had to re-direct him). I don't think they get that this is for scratching. I've heard them briefly scratch in the box but they immediately quit.Anyway, for my cats this box is no different than the ton of Amazon boxes that arrive and they play in for a few days before I send them to recycling.So, know your cats. If they love to play, lounge, and sleep in boxes, they may not use this for the scratching area as intended.

Cat loves it. He was ready to use his new scratcher before I had it fully set up. It's easy to put together. I might use a little packing tape on the corners for extra stability, but it's quite sturdy. It is still cardboard though, it's not going to last forever - especially if your cat likes to chew cardboard like mine does. I would definitely order more of these when it's time to get a replacement.
