I received this item and followed the steps to season it. I washed it, oiled it and put it on high heat. I used it once afterwards but everything still stuck to the pan.

I LOVE stir fry and used to have an electric wok back in the day that has since gotten lost at least 3 moves ago. When I saw this traditional style 13" Carbon Steel Wok Pan, I had to have it! It truly has been a wonderful addition to my kitchen. Its flat bottom ensures even heat distribution, making stir-frying too easy. I've enjoyed experimenting with various recipes, and the results have been consistently impressive. The included lid is a thoughtful touch, helping to retain moisture and flavor while cooking. I also appreciate the nonstick surface, which has made cleanup much easier. The spatula and brush that come with it are perfect for maintaining the wok and ensuring it stays in great condition. Whether I’m whipping up a quick weeknight dinner or preparing a more elaborate meal for guests, this wok has proven to be incredibly versatile. It works well on all types of stoves, making it a powerful tool in my culinary toolkit. At the time of this review (February 2025) it had a $6 off coupon, making it an even better buy.

So far, after 3 weeks of daily used, in high heat, no scratch is found yet. Just the right size and easy to clean cause it is non stick. Hopefully this wok will last a long time.

I love it! No need to season. Light weight. Non stick. Will see how long it lasts. I wouldn't use any metal utensils, it will most likely scratch the surface. But it comes with a spatula and a brush for cleaning plus an extra handle screw. Made dinner tonight and it was awsome.

I have used it four times and love it! Good for reheating also. It comes already seasoned, so just wash and go. It also has nice weight and seems well made. Good buy at $32.

Let me start by saying I’m not an expert in cookware or coatings, so take my observations with a grain of salt. First and foremost, this is a relatively lightweight wok at 2.5 pounds and isn’t very thick. That’s great for tossing over a flame since it’s easier to handle. The build quality is average but definitely usable. The inside surface is described as “pre-seasoned,” but it doesn’t feel like traditional seasoning--more like some kind of coating. It REALLY reminds me of Teflon, but again, I’m no coatings expert. The slickness and perfection of the “pre-seasoning” make me question what the surface actually is, but it’s definitely non-stick. Cleaning it was super easy, and my noodles slid right off. As long as the surface doesn’t start scratching or peeling, I’ll be happy. It also came with a nice silicone spatula and cleaning brush, and I think it would be hard to damage the surface using those. However, the paint on the rivets holding the handle peeled off during the very first hand wash (see picture). The rivets are underneath the handle and not really visible, so it’s not a huge deal. But if the paint comes off with gentle hand-washing, why even bother painting them in the first place?Overall, I like this wok better than my old, heavy one, and it did a great job with my meal. The non-stick surface is impressive--almost too impressive for what it claims to be.
