Equipment use and status display
Alarm self-test at first use:
When the alarm is powered on for the first time, the LCD will display "888PPM", while the buzzer will sound and flash the red light, then the alarm will enter a 10-second countdown. After the countdown, the LCD will turn off. Enter the low power monitoring state.
Working state:
1. When the alarm is in the off-screen state, the green LED flashes once every 15 seconds, indicating that the alarm is in a normal state.
2. When the alarm detects CO concentration over 50PPM, the LCD screen lights up, indicating that the alarm has entered the alarm state.
3. When the alarm detects CO concentration over 300PPM, the LCD screen lights up, the red LED flashes and the alarm sounds, indicating that it has entered the alarm state.
LCD screen display instructions:
‘Err’ on the LCD to indicate the unit is malfunctioning.
‘Lb’ on the LCD to indicate it low battery and need replacement.
‘999ppm” on the LCD to indicate CO level over 999ppm.
If the CO leakage is less than 999ppm but over 30ppm, it would show its actual concentration.

The original ones we had 5 years ago were the disposable CO2 detectors. They lasted about 5 years and recently died. I've replaced them with several of these throughout the house (kids rooms and garage). They take disposable or rechargeable batteries that can be replaced (un like the one time use name brand ones). Since they are super affordable we purchase several to be extra safe. It would be a tragedy to lose a loved one when something this simple can save lives

They come 2 to a box & the price is great. They’re small, about the size of a drink coaster (maybe smaller). You plug them in and they work just fine. Don’t emit any noise & are safe. Perfect for detecting carbon monoxide especially if you have gas hooked up.

They are small and ok with that BUT you can barely hear them. I would have to be 5 feet away to know if they went off. The price is good but the quality is NOT there.

We were recently taking a camping trip where we’d be staying off grid and using a generator. My sister mentioned the concern of carbon monoxide with a generator so i took straight to Amazon for a quick battery operator detector order. It’s small, convenient and a good value for the money since the two pack gives us a back up detector as well. It only takes two batteries making it cheap to replace when needed.
