I have several end mills now from SHARPRO and all of them are great. This 1/4" 2-flute ball nose end mill is also fantastic. Nice, sharp cutting edges, virtually no runout, and makes a good surface finish. So far I've only tried it out on 6061 aluminum with great results. I like to use an air blast to keep from re-cutting chips. Mist coolant also works great for more aggressive cuts where heat buildup can be a problem. I'm running this in an ER20 collet chuck in my older Jet benchtop mill. No complaints whatsoever. I can't comment on longevity since I've only used it a few times, but if any problems come up I'll update my review. So far this looks like another win from SHARPRO.

I needed one of these bits for a bunch of oak cabinet panels I am making so I picked this one up and it is working so great.I have bought quite a few bits from this brand and have had such great luck with them that they are now my goto brand for my CNC bits. It is a sharp bit and durable as well, with dozens of hours on it and still cutting nicely. The end product is so nice that it needed very little sanding after I carved the panels, which is so nice.

I am very happy with this bit.I bought this bit for general use in my home built CNC machine and it works great.It performs better on harder materials. On pine it does leave some fuzzies behind but it cuts real clean in walnut and other harder woods I've tried. It even does a good job in aluminum, just make sure you keep it lubricated with WD-40 or some other lubricant.This is becoming a new favorite brand and I'd definitely recommend these bits to friends.

This is complete & utter crap bit. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.If you want broken bits (and I know feeds and speeds so get out of here) buy these (2 broke)If you want a ROUNDOVER bit to pick your workpiece up out of clamps, buy these.

The bits are sharp, sturdy, handle well with high feeds and speeds. I will be buying more in the future.

This end mill came packaged in a nicer plastic case, and then also had some rubber hosing over the mill itself for added protection. The only annoying thing about the packaging is that they couldn't bother to describe the bit in all of the writing on there. I had to add my own label to the case.This end mill performed great in some hard maple I had. I just did some test cuts, but I didn't get the whiskers and wispy pieces that you normally have to sand off.Now, in softer pine, this didn't do quite as well and I did get the whiskers that needed to be sanded down.Value wise, I think you could probably find a better value.
