I use this meet in the back hatch of my minivan while camping and it works great. The mesh is a little bigger than I’d prefer, but it does the job. The only issue I have is that i feel like it needs more magnets above the Velcro area. Overall this net is a good value for the money and works great for car camping

This seems like it'd work well for camping. It's pretty easy and reasonably fast to set up even on the little hatchback. I specifically wanted something like this for when I'm using the tool setup in my car to work on another project. I've usually set up a canopy with screen walls, but it didn't cover the whole car to keep out the moths, mosquitoes, and annoying little beetles. The next day or so several would still be flying around in my car. This zippered net lets me grab something from within the hatch while leaving only a small opening that's harder for the bugs to find and enter. This seems to be of decent enough quality to last at least a few seasons if stored in the included bag carefully enough not to get Velcro stuck in the screen or something like that.

I got it for my Subaru Crosstrek for car camping. The set up is easy, just unfold and stick the magnets to the metal of your trunk. There is a zipper in the middle that helps getting in and out easy. I would say this is a must have in any season with bugs.

My parents took me around the US in a 1976 VW camper and father created a similar screen for the sliding door. I had fond memories and decided to try for my 2004 Escalade to camp in the Pacific NW. The rear gate lifts straight up which makes it a little more challenging to find good mounting spots and keep a flush fit. There is more plastic than I realized around the body too, but you can find metal to attach. The big bumper doesnt help. Havent camped with it yet, but it looks like it would keep out most unwanted small insects. Bigfoot probably not so much.

We camp in our Chrysler Pacifica and this was awesome for keeping the bugs out and the air moving. It fits on our rear, but I also managed it make it work for the side doors, so I might be ordering another. The magnets were strong and the screen stayed attached even getting in and out of the van. The only negative is that the zipper is a bit awkward. It has two sipper pulls and they both have to be up or down to be completely opened or closed. I guess this would be nice if you wanted a little hole for a pass through. I will say that even though it did a great job at keeping the flies, gnats, and mosquitos out, a slug still managed to slip through the bottom, but it's not completely sealed and we were camping, so creepy crawlies might still get in.

I just came back from a weekend car camping trip in the mountains and was hoping this would come in before I left, but it didn't, which was okay anyway as the weather dropped down to freezing and this would not have worked. But, I mention this because car camping can be a bit claustrophobic with hatch and door closed, and this net allows you a bit more breathing room - perfect for warmer weather car camping. It's not as roomy as a tent, but is a heck of a lot easier for set up and tear down if camping in a remote area or campground. So I plan on using it when I go out again this weekend, and so far it looks like it's going to work very well. As you can see in the photos, the XL fits my X3 perfectly - I'm very happy with the fit. The magnets seem to be strong enough to hold a seal around the top and sides. just leaving the bottom to hang freely. The velcro slots fit perfectly around my hatch hydraulics, providing a strong seal around the pistons. Right now with fall weather, I'm not too worried about bugs, but this looks like it will keep the majority out from rear SUV entry. I'll use this in combination with some window and sunroof magnetic net covers for an awesome non-winter setup.I like that this has a stuff sack that I can store it in and just keep it in the back of my SUV. The netting material is of good quality with no visible holes, and the zipper is as good as any tent zipper. I think this is a great option for car camping if you don't want to use a tent, or even for daytime hanging out and you just need to get away from the sun or bugs.

Wow! This thing is heavy! I expected it to be flimsy, but it is not. What a simple idea done right! The magnets hold it in place quite well, and it conforms to the size of your opening. I probably could have gotten away with the smaller version as I have leftover material, but it still works. If you've been forced indoors by mozzies, I'd like to see them get through this! The only problem I foresee (and no fault of the product) is how to install it and not have your vehicle fill up with the little buggers before closing yourself inside...

I wanted mosquito nets for the rear of my NV200 camper without spending much money, and these really work! If you are unfamiliar, the NV200 vans are similar in style to the Ford Transit Connect or Chevy Express. They fall short in a few ways, but given the cost, I think it's totally worth it:1. If I try to close the doors with the nets in place, the magnets get in the way and while the doors close most of the way, they do not latch2. the velcro loops in the top corners do not have magnets, so this area is kind of bunchy and not perfect3. The opening is quite small because of the double zipper at the bottom. It's possible to use as an entrance, but I would not want it to be my primary entrance to the vanI think to improve this, I would try to pop out the door seal and install the magnets below the door seal, that would be a much cleaner install if you can live with leaving it up 24/7
