I had my last Pronet tailgate net for, no $#!^, like 15 years! I replaced it when if finally died, with another tailgate net with one from Pep Boys and it lasted for about 9 months before the stitching fell apart and the connectors came off. Garbage. So I got another of these ProNet nets and could use the original connecting hardware. Works great!

Good product, easy to install. The instructions, though intuitive, look like they've been copied multiple times, so for a non-mechanical person might be hard to figure out.

Cheap looking, light-weight net. I have used it now for several weeks and the thing works fine. never had any problems. can recommend.

I have actually bought two of these (one in 2007, other in 2009) for my 2005 Tacoma Pre-Runner. Basically I haul stuff on pallets, and idiotic forklift drivers kept hitting my tailgate with the forktruck so many times, that my tailgate would no longer close. So I removed the tailgate and bought the ProNet along with the "speed clips."The ProNet works fine - but you will definitely want the speed clips!!! The speed clips allow you to fasten and unfasten your ProNet in a matter of seconds, instead of minutes. Minutes may not sound like much, until it's 20 below zero and the fabric tongues are frozen solid and your trying to work them loose.The first ProNet lasted about 2.5 years. About 2 years in, the fabric tongues started fraying a bit, and one of the plastic buckles cracked. Once you see that, order another ProNet, but don't install it - as it will last another 6 months. At 2.5 years, one of the tongues finally broke from wear, so then I put the new net on. (Same design, same shape, so no need to order speed clips again as you can just take them off old net)There is no gas mileage saving or wind reduction - that's all BS. But by having a net, it allows you to save your tailgate from fork truck damage - plus the load gets placed farther into the bed (near the cab) which makes it easier to drive with heavy loads... no more popping wheelies! LOLI'm happy I bought this. I wish they would last longer than they do - but they are subjected to high winds, sun, rain, snow, salt and whatever else mother nature or the D.O.T. can throw at them - so 2.5 years is probably pretty darn good!
