- The normal operating voltage of the horn is 9 - 16V.
- If the horn does not sound or the sound is small due to the aging of the original car line (the voltage drop is too large), we can install the horn modified wiring harness.
- The horn should be mounted away from the engine.
- When honking, do not hold the horn for a long time, generally not more than 30 seconds.
- The horn is not stable, can be checked as follows: Wiring copper terminals loose or fall off; Whether the battery power is sufficient; Horn connection line is too thin; Whether the horn button is damaged.
- When installing, the horn mouth is inclined down at 45 degrees, so as not to get out of the water.

I need this for my mast mounted horn on my boat. The horn is too far from the cockpit to run the power directly from the button to the horn since the voltage drop would be too much. I run 8 AWG wire from the battery through the relay to the horn and then 16 AWG from the button in the cockpit to trigger the relay.

First thing I noticed was the clear plastic housing so you can see the actual relay. That was a huge plus.Second thing was the price. The price seems really reasonable for what this is. The harness itself is made really well all the right connectors already attached and ready to hook up a horn.Works as described too. Nothing else I could ask for. Great price, nice features and works well.
