Ordered this for a 2008 Ford Explorer after matching the original part number off the failed fob to it. Easy to program to the vehicle and comes with a battery already installed and ready to go. It's nice to have the full functionality of keyless entry to the vehicle again.

just as the description, easy as all get out to program, no instructions but for mine i had to turn the ignition on and off 8 times with in 10 seconds on the final one leave key in on position then press any button to activate. Work on the first time. Nice having a key fob again.

Bought this remote for a 2013 Ford Mustang after my remote built into the key stopped working. Did not want to spent a couple hundred on a new one from Ford so gave this a try. It was easy to set up and the range is just as far as the original.

Was able to program in less than 30 seconds. Just get in car, Do NOT touch the brake pedal, turn the key to the on position from the off position quickly 8 times with the 8th time leaving the key in the on position, Let the locks cycle & it goes into programming mode. Touch any button on each new fob you have. You are now done. Must do the 8 times in less than 30 seconds & this should work for your Mustang.
