Nice jack kit. Comes with everything you need to change a tire except the spare. Seems strong and well made. Easily lifted my bmw 328. Ratchet wrench is nice and easy to use. Highly recommend for a spare tire kit.

The big draw here is the ratcheting arm attachment. It's well designed, feels strong and works great! If you've ever had to use a regular wrench on one of these you know what I'm talking about. This thing works and it works well! I also love that it comes with it's own carrying bag to keep everything nice and tidy.

This is a good, solid jack that comes complete with useful accessories like gloves, lug keys, wrenchs, and more, all stored in a convenient carrying bag. The jack itself is well-made, constructed from sturdy materials, and feels durable enough to last for years. It’s a mechanical jack, not hydraulic, which can be an advantage in certain situations. Rated for 1.5 tons (3307 lbs), it’s not suitable for heavier vehicles like trucks or large SUVs but works perfectly for lifting modern mid-sized cars or crossovers. The jack operates smoothly and effortlessly, lifting one corner of the vehicle with ease. It holds the car securely at the desired height without slipping or lowering on its own. The base is wide (5” x 14.5”), providing extra stability, and the top plate makes solid contact with the vehicle. One of the standout features is how low it sits when fully collapsed, making it ideal for storing in your car trunk for emergencies. It’s lightweight yet more durable and easier to use than most factory jacks. To use, simply turn the handle clockwise to raise the jack, and it lifts quickly and smoothly, extending from 4 inches up to a maximum of 13.8 inches. The hand mechanism uses a wrench (as pictured), which requires you to reach under the car to operate it—unlike L-shaped rod wrenches that allow you to work from a safer distance. This jack meets all safety standards and performs well on solid, level surfaces like a garage floor. However, on rough, uneven, or sloped terrain, it can become unstable. It’s best used in ideal conditions: on a flat, debris-free surface with the vehicle properly secured (parking brake engaged, in gear, or using wheel chocks). Additionally, having sufficient strength and dexterity to operate the jack is recommended. One handy feature is the instructions printed directly on the jack, eliminating the need to search for a manual in an emergency. The compact kit is easy to store in your car and is perfect for changing a spare tire. Simply having it in your trunk—or the trunks of your loved ones’ cars—provides extra peace of mind. With proper use and maintenance, this jack should last a long time. If you use it frequently, remember to grease the threads occasionally to keep it functioning smoothly. Overall, it’s a reliable and practical tool for roadside emergencies.

Quick - does you car have a functioning, workable jack in the trunk or elsewhere in the car? If you bought it used, probably not. We're the second owner (it was my mom's car) of our red, Pontiac G6. We joked she was the Little Ol' Lady From Pasedena. Anywhooo, the cheap jack took a crap a long time ago.I always meant to go to the junkyard and get a direct replacement. I'm glad I didn't, because this jack kit might not have caught my attention. For 5 years I taught driver's ed at the local college. We don't teach changing tires anymore (it's not my fault!), and I've had many parents ask me what they could get their "new driver" to give them a head start and help safety wise. Many would get those vehicle emergency kits with a couple of flares, an SOS flag or pendant, maybe a glass break hammer with set belt cutter, and some resemblence of a blinky light and a few band-aids.This jack set is going in our Pontiac, we'll get one for the Buick, and I'll recommend it to everyone. It's that good. The wrench arm for breaking loose the lug nuts is substantial enough that it will do the job. The jack has both finger wings for getting the jack positioned correctly and then, a really nice reversable quick ratchet to use jacking the vehicle up, or bringing it back down. The sockets are in millimeters. If you've got some classic American iron get a 1/2 drive stout socket to match your lug nuts and augment your kit.Start your new driver off right. Give yourself the proper tools to get the job done. Show your new driver how to use these tools. Short of a AAA subscription this is one of the best things you can have in your car, or the car of a loved one.

I would not trust the jack with my life, definitely would not use it on a slope, but the accessories are pretty good quality, and appreciated. It will function well enough to do the job, but I don't believe it's very safe. Use back up protection, which you should always do, anyway.

I've got an old beater (25 yrs) that I'm waiting for the weather to get better to change out the rotted tires.Got this scissor jack for that. And OMG, this came with everything you can need in an emergency, except the air pump--gloves, air pressure reader, sockets, and scissor jack.Easy to figure out and use. It's rated at 1.5 tons. Should be enough to handle my old Acura Integra with ease.I highly recommend this scissor jack. It's so nice!***Update***Had a few hours today. Still too cold, but it wasn't windy so I changed two tires in 5 degree weather. My old jack took about 15-20 mins to raise my car to a height where I could change my tires. This universal scissor jack has a racheting handle that allows me to raise my car in 3-5 mins, which cut my lifting time down 300%.Cons: this scissor jack's base doesn't seem as solid as my old acura scissor jack. You can see I put some anti-slip mat underneath. I was on a slight angle too so that doesn't help. Even on a flat surface, I'd probably put anti-slip mat, just to be safe.Still, I give it high ratings because of how much faster it raises/lowers the car and because it comes with some extras.
