On a 2010 Honda CRV, this product is barely too wide to sit flush in the cavity on the door jamb. Also, the switch does not appear as the pictures show. There is no rubber cover to the bolt. Much of the interior plastic has a fragile, cheap feel and has a cloudy white color. If I had to give this waste of plastic and rubber any points, it would be that the electrical cable plugged into the switch with a solid click. Upon connecting to the cable and being bolted as much as possible with the awkward fit, the switch provided zero response through the vehicle. Courtesy lights do not turn on, the dashboard open door indicator does not register ANY of the car’s doors as open anymore.TLDR: This junk is keeping the electric cable from falling into the car’s frame while I meticulously repair the part I wanted to replace. Look elsewhere.

It works but, as another reviewer posted, lacks the cover over the mounting bolt. You should keep the bolt as clean as possible as it grounds the switch to the car to complete the circuit.

The switch works but does not match the photo. No rubber cover for the inset screw.
