these are a blessing. they fit in the door latch of the car.. very strong.. they have an indention in the crook to help keep it from movement.. and you can't beat the price..my mother was having a impossible time finding something to help brace her get out of the front passenger seat. NOW the REAR seats are usually different, with the hook being higher up on the wall.. but they will still help you get out of the car.. don't pass this up for the price and usefulness.

Im not elderly. Im reviewing as a person with disability and mobility issues. I love how solid this is. Really helps me steady and carefully rise and leave the seat. I took off one star simply because it wouldn’t be universally helpful for every car. I am currently stuck with a low vehicle, which is a nightmare for me to get out of, and this definitely helps. My larger vehicle is high enough that I can slide out, and this doesn’t do much in that case. Very well priced.

Seems great so far, we’ll see how it holds up. Definitely is cheaper than other options and seems to work just as good.

This is perfect for someone with MD ( muscular dystrophy ) ( Beckers ) who has trouble getting up and standing, can use door frame as leverage. Great lil purchase, very helpful. Hope it lasts!

Is lightweight but well made - the silicone on handles is firmly attached to the core, so the grip does not slip with use, providing some security while entering & exiting the vehicle.The handle does wobble in the door latch, (but this movement is typical for this type of assistant device.)This model is sturdy, suits our purposes and is very nice that it comes in a 2 pack. One stays in my car and the other stays in my mom’s apartment.5 stars from me!
