the included 2 sided tape sucks. the area on the mount the tape sticks to is ridged, and the stickiness just wasn't strong enough to stick to the raised areas only. it if it was flatter on the bottom it might have been good enough.Worked out in my favor though, any place i had avaliable to stick this in my wrangler gave me different readings, dramatically. i guess i have some kind of magnetic interference going on.. so pay attention when you mount it to make sure it's reading correctly.out of the box the housing was pushed apart. it did snap together once i took it apart and stuck it back together. for now, i just let it lay and pick it up if i want to use it

Unfortunately this compass does not calculate correctly in either one of my vehicles. Tried several different times and several different ways. It just did not work.

My dogs got to review this before I did, they give it 5 teeth marks.It's a large globe and the compass moves very freely. Wish I had a chance to use it, but such is life with dogs.

Compass is defective. When driving East the compass indicates South. Driving South indicates SW. Driving N indicates NW. Driving West is the only time it's accurate.
