This Needle Scaler worked great at first. Then, the needles started to break and fall out. After about an hour of use all of the needles were gone! No replacement needles available like larger versions from different manufacturers. There was no miss use or drops.

This quality tool is worth the money! It is a great mini needle scaler for auto body sheet metal! I’m restoring a 1967 ford galaxie and this tool it cleaning all the rust and scale and hardened grease off the under carriage with ease. The air pressure control valve is a nice feature but the tool is sized perfectly for this work. I’m not needle gunning a destroyer or a railroad car. Just 18 gauge u.s. steel . Even with the airline attached it fits up into the rear wheel wells with room to manuever.Again, for me it’s the right tool for the job.

This tool is very small and easy to use 1 handed, which is great. It also works well as a scaler, it felt well made. That's all the good stuff I can say about it.The bad: the price, you can find this unbranded on AliExpress for ~$140. Another company Scorpio makes one that looks very similar but can't seem to buy it in the USA. It'll freeze your hand if you use for a decent length of time (I was using in winter tho). The worst thing about this tool is that replacement needles cost $50 for 13 from Capri. 1 broke the second time I used it, I reached out hoping they might send me some or at least be semi affordable. I was unable to find them anywhere else since they're a special size (~1.3mm).Well it's a shame the replacement needles are a quarter of the tool price and they're longevity is questionable. You can buy standard size needles (⅛" or 3mm) for like $10 for 19 at harbor freight and readily across the Internet. It's too bad cuz I really liked this tool for the short time I was able to use it on my project car.
