The capacitors in this kit are of high quality to replace the failed ones on your board. Problems/symptoms of the failed capacitors: pink dot/startup problems, slow startup, or after starting up, the picture starts to disappear, flickering of the TV screen, clicking noise or pound/Power LED is on, however, no sound.

This kit worked very well. The hardest part was disassembly and reassembly of the monitor. Removal of the bad capacitors was the easier part of the operation. The supplied soldering iron saved me as my Weller iron wasn't able to reflow the solder on the bad capacitors. The solder sucker also worked well in removal of the solder.The monitor is now back in use and working like new again.

The parts were exactly what I needed. The soldering iron that came in the kit was different than one pictured and did not have the stand. However I consider the soldering iron superior in quality than the one shown, so I am happy with the purchase.
