Great product, even though it’s made in China. Ordered to use in gym due to the gym not having these and to use in my home gym. Plus, even if the gym had them, I wouldn’t have to track them down and wipe them off.

I ordered one of those pulley systems a few weeks back to level up my home workouts a little, and after a week or so I figured that a lat bar will be a good idea and I found this one at a price I could live with. I figured I'd get what I paid for so I actually looked at reviews after I ordered, but I remember someone mentioning how heavy it was. I concur that it is heavy, but to me, I can deal with it. I did notice some peeling after the first use, again I figured it wouldn't be the best quality qt the price I was paying, but thats what I wanted to pay. Overall it seems sturdy. The piece that connects to the pulley system rotates and seems sturdy. The bar itself is a nice size where you can get a nice wide grip and a nice thickness. The grip is a little aggressive soil that turns you off avoid. Otherwise I'd recommend.

Arrived a bit dusty and scratched, but for my home gym it's exactly what I'm looking for in a piece of equipment and I can't see this failing on me anytime soon. Very solid attachment, would recommend.

My first impressions of the lat bar was that it was quite heavy and built very well. This bar is excellent for building a massive back and I definitely recommend this bar!

I bought this bar because A) it was cheap and B) it was a solid bar without excessive curl in it. I had read the reviews that reported rust, appearance of a used bar, binding in the rotation joint, etc. I will say that the finish leaves something to be desired in that the chroming is smeared near the center pivot piece. And it did bind and did have visible rust in the pivot joint.I sprayed Rem Oil into the pivot until the drainage no longer had a rusty tinge. I then used clipper grease (because of the narrow application tube) to lubricate the pivot joint in addition to the Rem Oil. I spun the pivot while tilting the bar both ways. I then washed the rubber end pieces with dishwashing liquid to get rid of that cheap rubber smell. This bar works. It now pivots smoothly without a sound, will spin freely if you flick the cable connector, and doesn't make my hands stink from the rubber. Was it worth it? You decide. I think I paid about $22 for it. I could have bought a more expensive bar but spent 15 minutes making this one function as well as one that cost twice as much. I'm not worried about the smeared chrome and if you are super worried about appearances, then your money will be better spent on a more expensive bar. If you want to clean and grease this bar, it functions well without issue. Spend that other $20 you'd pay for a pricier bar and buy a tricep rope or double D-ring for face pulls.
