This was relatively easy to assemble (they even include white gloves!), and it looks excellent. It is a bit pricey considering you have to assemble it and it doesn't come with glass, but considering the look and quality I think it's worth it.

I don't use a lot of metal frames for my art. But I've used a few lately and found them to be a nice (cost-friendly) alternative. These are generally running less than traditional wood frames. These are dyi to put together. But they're easy as long as you take time to align the corners. These come with a pair of gloves to help do that because the edges - when unassembled - can be quite sharp. I was a little concerned when I saw the packaging that they might be damaged. There's shipped in plain cardboard and no extra padding beyond a plastic bag. But they were unblemished and look great.

Framing a canvas painting can get really expensive. I am always looking for options that a little less pricy as I am not a famous artist and do this at a loss all the time. This frame is fancy but less in cost than others. The gold is a bit more gold and shiny than I would like. It will definitely not blend in nor go with every work of art. But if you can work the bright gold into the look, this is fine. It has only picture illustrations on the instructions, but I could figure it out It includes hardware, and will require you to supply your own tools (screwdriver for assembling frame, whatever else you need to hang on a wall).Overall, good value, but not my favorite frame.

I finally found one of these that works! Between here and Amazon and one other location, I have tried four different types of frames and each one for some reason had some kind of issue. Usually, the frame would be the same size or smaller than the advertised size of the canvas it claimed it could fit. But with this one, it fit perfectly has one would normally expect.Of course the canvas I have is a little thin so it rests a little too deep inside. But I plan to build a rear frame for the canvas to help bring it forward a bit, which will work out just fine. All in all this is a great frame.

This frame is a good frame with the right hardware for putting it together and for hanging the artwork properly on the wall. I like the way it “floats” a painting because this makes the presentation so much more attractive. Also of note is that the frame came well packed. The video on the listing helps immensely in putting the frame together, which is easy to do.

I absolutely appreciate the ease of assembly with this frame. And that the hardware and the frame itself feel so substantial and heavy. For example a lot of the pieces are aluminum, but they are heavier, thicker pieces that don't feel flimsy/breakable. I appreciate the special touch with including the white floves to protect the art work and frame from smudges. I will say that I was hoping for a slightly warmer tone of gold- this gold is more neutral, neither too warm nor too cool toned.

This gold metal frame is easy to put together to add a finishing touch to a 30x40 canvas. Everything comes in the box, including cotton gloves to keep fingerprints off the artwork. Very happy with the convenience and price of this compared with custom framing.
