The young man I bought this for is over the moon! The paper is a perfect thickness and doesn't tear too easily. It withstands'erasing' well. Love it!

I recently started doing life drawings and was looking for something i could use to sketch quick gestural poses of people in everday life, that also didn't cost too much and was a decent size. Canson Biggie Newsprint was fine for those needs. The Newsprint quality has a bit of "tooth" or texture that easily accepts softer lead pencils, but if you choose to use anything from 9H to a F it may be difficult to visualize the markings without putting excessive pressure or strokes. Felt tip pens and markers tend to bleed on to the other side of the page, while ball point pens seem more forgiving.I've sketched about halfway in one of these and I've noticed that some pages have started falling out, so do be careful when maneuvering and handling the pages. I go through these very fast and tend to handle them with less care than i should which causes them to fall out faster.Overall, if you're looking for something cheap to use for sketching, or even charcoal type sketching that requires a lot of practice and repetition, i would recommend this, otherwise consider purchasing a heavier paper for more elaborate drawings.

I bought this for an homeschooling co-op I am part of. I love it. Works well. Great price. Great to have "scrap paper" to work on.

I take this to life drawing sessions for the quick 1, 2 and 5 minute poses. It is inexpensive, but durable enough to take vigorous strokes of the pencil. When we switch over to longer poses, I switch over to a Strathmore 400Series pad.

I still begin my design on paper and I just ingest these pads. Couldn't live without them. Smooth newsprint, inexpensive enough to use like - well - like newsprint!

I use this paper primarily for rough sketches before using better materials, so I like the fact that you can easily tear out pages as you need them. Handles pencil and ink as long as you don't use too much. Has a nice texture, not too rough or soft. The price could be much lower.

It came in a very good condition as expected. The product itself is very convenient to use, mainly because I like the size when doing small and quick gesture drawings. Paper quality is average IMO, but since it is for quick sketches, it doesn't have to be world class quality or anything. Price is cheap, it just the shipping that hesitate me from stocking more though. Overall, great.
