Introducing the Canopus Adhesive Transfer Tape 468MP, engineered with a robust 5.2 mil adhesive designed specifically for splicing and laminating operations involving metals and HSE plastics. Versatile Applications:
This adhesive tape serves many purposes including a no-cut transfer paper, PEI sheet for 3D printers, 3D printer glue, double-sided Kapton tape, phenolic sheet, double-sided adhesive sheets, and PEI heated bed.
Surface Preparation:
For optimal bonding, ensure that bonding surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and dried before application.
Application Guidelines:
Apply the tape at room temperature or up to 100°F for best results. Firmly press down for about a minute to establish a secure bond. Moderate heat ranging from 100°F to 130°F can aid in developing intimate contact with the bonding surface.
Environmental Conditions:
This tape withstands short-term exposure to temperatures up to 400°F and intermittent longer periods up to 300°F. It shows minimal impact on adhesive performance in high humidity, remaining consistent even after a week at 90°F and 90% relative humidity. Additionally, when properly applied, it maintains secure adhesion against various chemicals, making it perfect for nameplate and decorative trim parts.

I use transfer tape with my 3D cutter to keep things aligned when transferring to a glued surface. A lighter tack is needed for certain leathers etc. I was hoping this was going to be less tacky than it is so it would not mar the finish of leather but it isn't. I'm not going to ding the company because their product doesn't work when I'm using for what it is not intended for. That being said, it is an impressive product. For those of you who get confused between the "transfer tape" you use to transfer cut vinyl and you all are scratching your head as to "what would I use double sided transfer tape for", let me explain. This is a Different application. Double sided tape is a medium with sticky film on both sides. Double sided transfer tape transfers the adhesive only to the material and removes anything else so nothing, but a thin film of adhesive is left behind when you remove the backing. This product leaves a very thin and sticky adhesive behind, and I can think of half-a-dozen applications for it so although it wasn't quite what I had hoped for, It is a welcome addition to my hobby shop.

This roll of 3m adhesive tape is true to the brand quality. I use it to adhere wood and acrylic ornaments. So much cleaner than glue and safe to cut on the laser. The adhesive is strong and it lasts. This is is a good buy!

This is a great adhesive for my layered ornaments! No more messy glue! I attach the adhesive to the back of the sheet of wood before cutting with my laser. Glad I found this!

This double stick tape makes a strong bond. I used this tape with a CO2 laser to attach wood to wood and also wood to acrylic. In both cases it created a good strong bond. Using this tape eliminates glue squeeze out issues I have had with intricate designs. All the adhesive is exactly where you want it.My process is to clear finish the wood before cutting, either stained and clear coated or simply clear coated. I then apply this double stick tape to the back side and a mask to the front side ( painter tape). After cutting simply remove the mask and the protective paper from the tape and stick the project together. I follow this with another application of a clear finish and the item is done.So much faster and neater than using glue!

I have been using the 3m sheets which have worked out great so I thought I would buy this in a roll. Firstly it only has backing paper on one side so it's sticky as you unroll it. It's impossible to cut with scissors as the glue sticks to scissors. I applied it to my sheet as I unrolled it and trimmed the edges with a knife but then when I went to peel the paper off the glue was sticking to the roll edges and the edges I cut. I am not sure how this gets 5 stars as it is pretty useless. I will be going back to the individual sheets
