I had an issue with the shipping of the product, it required a signature unfortunately with my work schedule I was unable to pick this product up from the post office, seller sent another one without signature which was perfect these guys are amazing and the product works to, highly recommend seller.

Works very well in my Canon. This WiFi card saves a lot of time for sure. No more pulling shots off of the CF card manually.

I dont use this for my main shooting, however when im on vacation or not near my desktops I am able to put this in my camera and download the photos i took onto my phone. For me, this is very convenient and worth the money alone. I use it for shooting if im shooting me and other and i want to control the settings (i find handing the camera to friends or family to shoot me and a friends ends up with bad cropping and composition or focus so this allows me to line up the shot, get in focus, and then take the shot from my phone so i know Im the one controlling everything about the image)

The eye fi card works really well. The card doesn't come with any instructions but there are several tutorials on YouTube.

I have a 7D Mark 2 with the most recent firmware, and both my phone and tablet are running the most recent version of android, plus the most recent version of the Canon Camera Connect app. The app lets me download pictures from the camera which is great, but I could get the same from a much cheaper Eye-Fi card. Every time I try to go into the live view remote shutter part of the app both the camera LCD and my phone keep flashing "busy" indefinitely. So far I've been through about a half dozen conversations with Canon customer service, but the problem persists. If they can help me get it working I'll reconsider my review.

It's not a bad unit, for me setup was odd. I had to update my 7D mkii firmware, but it seems that it didn't work right the first time because I could never get the unit to connect all it would say is "Busy.....Please wait!" The wifi is pretty slow meaning that you won't be transferring pictures especially raw quickly, but it's better than plugging the camera in all the time or leaving it tethered (both in direct wifi and through a router modes). I'd say you can expect about 45 seconds per raw image transferred with the 7D mkii, certainly more for a full frame. I was disappointed with how few of the shooting features you can access from the remote operation either by phone or computer. Perhaps that will improve over time. You also get no control over video shooting, you can only transfer videos. Also be prepared for it to use a lot of battery, just playing around with it for an hour trying to get it setup and test it's function took a full battery to the point of getting a low battery warning. So you'll definitely want spare batteries. You also get different functionality depending on if you are using the phone app based or computer based control, for example you can't control white balance with the phone app, but you can through the computer. Also you cannot send raw images to your phone, the largest image you can transfer to the phone is 1920x1280 when set to Raw, however if you record JPG's on the camera you are given the option to transfer original sized JPG's. So you actually can get higher resolution images to your phone using JPG on the camera instead of RAW, should you need the extra resolution to the phone. (Some third party camera controllers do provide more functionality and work with the W-E1). The other thing that may be an issue for some users is that when you are using the remote app the camera itself is locked out, meaning you can't adjust anything manually on the camera and you can't get liveview on the camera and a device at the same time. That would be nice for say macro shots where you want to be able to see and make adjustments on the camera directly but still have a remote shooting location without having to start/stop the remote app every time.

So far, this thing works great. Love it for transferring files to my iPhone and doing quick edits. I use it with my 7D m2. It is a bummer than it does not support video transfer, but given the amount of data that would be transferring, it makes sense. I think the app that accompanies this can use some work, but for the bare bones on what this does, it has proven very useful. Especially when l'm out and about and want to quickly upload to a social media site. For me, this is a must have.Keep in mind, it does not transfer full resolution files.
