September 2024 - I was expecting a metal frame camera, for the price I paid, but it is just plastic. I like the feel of the cameras of the past and the bumpy knurls that help to grip the hand. That grainy feel of the surface can be copied with plastic, if it is molded. Just not sure why they got rid of that feel. Most certainly be R&D costs. That is the first thing I would carry over from the metal frame to the plastic injection mold. SAD! It just another cheap feeling camera. The LED Screen is flimsy and disappointing as well. I will go back to film before I buy another plastic frame camera. The smaller APS-C camera I put away when this one was delivered had a metal frame. It is smaller and weights more but it feels like money in the hand when being used. I will update this review after I have mastered the software and menu.

Please do your research before you purchase this model. Shooting 4K video is a struggle because it constantly overheats very quickly. To the point where it’s unusable.
