Santa brought my dog 2 boxes of these rawhides for Christmas. She absolutely loves them, they're her favorite good girl treat. Today she's down to her last 2 rawhides so I'm ordering another box to get us through to Christmas. Santa is definitely giving her 3 boxes this year!

My vet recomend natural rawhide strips for my toy dogs teeth. Miniature dogs have more dental problems. The rawhide cleans better than greenies for good reasons. They eat the greenies quickly. The strips they can work on for hours, even days.I know a lot of people say rawhide is bad. Can't be digested and is a choke hazard. And that is true, if your giving your dog the braided pieces. Those look good. But they can get a very big, hard chunk off and that's dangerous. But these are a good size. I did find a few seriously thick pieces, maybe 3. Those went to the boxer. No problem for her.I've been using these strips for over 5 years without any problems and my little buddies love them.I have one that's 5 pounds and another, a boxer, that's 50 pounds. Both use these. The only difference is the boxer can actually eat one in a day. The small one has never eaten a whole strip. Just gets nasty and she gets a new one. Usually after a week. Again, bits come off in small pieces and it's well chewed and soft when it does. I take them away when they become too small or just gross from too much loving. But the benefit is clean teeth and satisfies that need to chew on things. Like my shoes. It's a win. Great value, you get a lot for a little.
