My rig is a work in progress at the moment but getting this for my G85 stepped my game up. Currently have it on my needed mount for the matte box until I can upgrade that to make the whole thing a little more compact. But, so far everything is working and looking great. I keep getting compliments on my “impressive” camera rig.

Everything is Pretty Decent! Just the cold shoe on the left corner was machined a tad bit sloppy but I was able to force my Mic in but it’s not a deal breaker and it could be just my rig But Overall get it!Panasonic lumix G85Feelworld 6 in MonitorComica microphoneLumix 25mm lens

It's an extremely modular system that can adapt to any body you attach it to! I've had it for over 7 years and it's never failed me!I've used it with my GH4 ,GH5, Blackmagic Pocket 4k, Canon C70, and now the Canon C200. The thing about this cage is the versatility and the ability to move the pieces around to fit which camera however you want! The only problem I ever had was the top handle felt loose, but that's because I never noticed the cold shoe lock on the top cheese plate lol. But it's and an amazing cage that I've used in many professional settings and definitely have gotten gigs off of it. 10/10 would recommend!

This product is really good for a person who wants to get into filmmaking or water type of video . it literally can fit almost any camera and is perfect size. it is one issue that I am having tho which is that the side handle would sometimes come a lose and I would have to keep twisting it . Other than that the product is good and perfect size.

For the price it's a good cage overall. On the negative side, the side handle does not screw-in solidly and has some annoying play. The screws that fixate the top and bottom plates cause damage to the rig as soon as they are screwed in.

Not as sturdy as it thought it would be. The side handle is fairly loose and no way to tighten it all the way. Also seem to be little bits of movement from the cage no matter how much I tighten the threads. Probably wouldn't buy another one.

Honestly I don’t reviews ever, but felt like I have to for this product. I’m very impressed by how good this purchase turned out to be. I bought this rig for a special event in February, and I’ve used it several times since, and every time I can’t wait to use it again - honestly wish I had more opportunity to use this in my workflow.Anyhow, today I needed a selfie rig in a pinch, and decided to utilize this products versatility to create the contraption in my pictures. Worked like a charm!

Great camera rig thats very versatile and very sturdy. Love the wooden grip and the wooden top grip, doesnt slip out of your hand. I tried fitting a A6000 and a Nex5n and they both work marvelously. Love the height adjustment which is pretty much a smooth height adjustment and the extra length bars they give with it you can put in a full frame camera inside nicely. The top hotshoe mount plate secures the camera into the rig with the 1/4 screw at the bottom. Whole rig with my 25mm 1.7f lens is 1300g camera itself with the lens is 520g so the rig itself is about 800g (1.6lbs)The rig even fits my big 14-140mm panny len with 2 mm of space between the bottom of the lens and the bottom plate

This thing is like Lego for adults. You can play with it for hours, particularly if you have some extra hardware and want to customize it. The quality of the cage is really nice and all the parts seem well machined and fit together well. Bear in mind that once your camera is installed it is not coming out easily since it is held by the baseplate and hotshoe. In order to get it out you'd have to loosen both , and also loosen the bolts on the left vertical piece in order to slide the top up to get the camera out. This is good because the camera is held very securely, however you can't easily alternated between cage/video and no-cage/photography. I didn't quite realize this when I bought it, however after fooling around with it for quite a while in different configurations, I realized I really only needed an "L" so I removed the top and installed a Manfrotto quick release plate. Now I can use the left vertical piece to hold my mini shotgun mic, I can mount my Blackmagic Video Assist on the camera, I still have the left handle, and I can take the camera in/out in seconds. I realize this defeats some of the purpose of this cage, but I love how I was able to customize it to meet my needs. I might also try putting the top back on, but lifting it so I'm not using the hot shoe mount. We'll see. As I said, this thing is fun to play with. Overall a great product and a nice compact and highly adjustable cage.
