When a winter storm was going to hit us, we decided to get this coffee percolator just in case we lost electricity. This percolator worked great.

Well made and works great in the RV when we have to use the gas cooktop when we don't have 120V in the morning and don't want to run the generator to make coffee at 6 AM.

The hinge seems a bit cheap and the glass top broke a few months in. Glass top is replaceable for a few bucks. For the money I'd say it's about what you'd expect.
