Run of the mill sub par production. It works as a poncho but not durable, and the materials will soon fail with how they affixed the grommets and buttons. I've had other ponchos made the same way all fail as well. Forget using this As a makeshift poncho shelter more than a few times. I keep this one around but don't expect high quality function like Bushcraft or military ponchos

I am 5’11” 220 lbs and It fits me just fine. It pulled over my head no problems. Material similar to Rip stop. It’s raining here so I got to try it out. Water runs off as it should. Plenty of grommets and strings with this. The strings are light duty but replaceable if someone was going to use this for like an impromptu shelter. Definitely long enough to cover yourself even with a hiking pack on.

I bought this right before I went to a concert as it was predicted to rain. It did. However I stayed dry. But here are a couple of things I personally noticed for myself and hopefully it will help other. I'm 5'7" so this thing is very long, seems like a lot of material but if you intend to wear this with a backpack on it would probably come up to the right height for you. It also has string attachments at the bottom, you can you this thing as a tarp or tent and the cords on the corners are super long and they will drag on the ground. You can either take them off if you will not be using them and store them in the storage bag, or you can kind of wrap them and knot them up, which is what I did because I got this last minute and didn't have time to check this out fully before I left. The sides are snaps. Not sure if I'll use this a lot, as I live in an area that seldom gets rain, but it worked great when I did need it and I was happy with the material.

It's durable and big enough to keep you dry. Nice and light for comfort but still tough. Good deal for the money and so much nicer than the cheap disposable ones. Well worth the purchase.

I've been looking forever for a decent USGI style and quality poncho, and I've finally found one that doesn't break the bank.Over the years, I've bought many supposedly USGI-style ponchos, and in almost every case, I was disappointed. Cheap snaps, flimsy materials, dubious waterproofing, ripstop that wasn't, I've seen it all. Real USGI ponchos are hard to find, and they are expensive when you do find them. I guess if I had just forked over the cash at the beginning of this process, I would have had the ponchos I used in the service from the get-go, without all the hassle I went through trying to find a good poncho for what I think they are worth- about 25 bucks. But, my search is finally ending with this poncho. Before buying this, I read some reviews and noted them. Some said the head hole was too small. Others didn't like the stuff sack. Some said they were too shiny. Well, I took this with a grain of salt and ordered one. I just finished looking the poncho over (in OCP pattern), and it's pretty darn close to the USGI poncho I knew and loved (sort of).First, the size is close. I think the USGI poncho was 86 inches long, and this one is 90, which is great. It is four inches narrower, but I can live with that. This will 100% work for a 550-cord poncho hooch, the lightest weight and most versatile shelter known to man.Second, the camo is acceptable, if not dead-on, for OCP. It'll work for most environments.Third, I don't think this is much "shinier" than a USGI unit, which, by the way, is plenty shiny when it gets rained on.Fourth, this should do just as well to keep the rain off when you sleep. Lousy ponchos do not have the rubberized lining that is the USGI's secret sauce, and this one does.Fifth, the materials seem of excellent quality, right down to the snaps, which are brass and not cheap plastic. The eyelets are brass, too. Very nice.Sixth, I like the stuff sack. Some do not- they say it is too tight. It actually works best if you don't try to fold the poncho. Just jam it in. It fits.Seventh, the head hole, while not as roomy as USGI, fits over my large head with no issues. The hood isn't as roomy as USGI, but I really don't plan on wearing a helmet with this on, which is why the USGI one is so stinkin' big. Therefore my search is over. This is a pretty awesome poncho for half the price of other OK ones. You can use it as rain gear or an improvised shelter. At this price, buy a few of them and leave them in the car.Recommend.

I was expecting it to be made of that rubbery material, or at least have that coating on it. Not exactly sure what the coating is, but I wasn't sticking to it when I was damp. It is thicker than I thought it would have been. Hopefully that translates into a more robust slicker. Head hole is smaller than I expected. That's okay, it means less rain is going to get down the hole. Worked well in light rain, haven't had it out in a downpour yet. Overall I'm happy with it, especially at that price.

A pesar de ser un material muy delgado es bastante resistente, ademas que sus costuras lo fortalecen mas, tiene buena tecnología, se escurre y seca bastante rapido, vale la pena.
