Your cart is empty.The Magpul Suppressor cover - 5.5" Is the first product of its kind able to stand up to the extreme temperatures caused by extended strings of fire to protect the user and equipment against burns while also speeding up the cooling process. Constructed of a heat-resistant polymer sleeve overlaid onto a raised stainless steel heat shield that mounts directly to the body with steel clamps, The Magpul Suppressor cover - 5.5" Minimizes heat transfer to keep external cover temperatures up to 1000 degrees F cooler than the surface of the suppressor and allows cooling airflow across the can. Additionally, it serves as an enhanced thermal insulator and signature reduction device, significantly mitigating mirage distortions to the sight picture, reducing the likelihood of impact damage to the suppressor body, and lessening the chance of accidental heat-related injury or damage to personnel or equipment during firing and cool down. Optimized for 1.5" outer diameter round suppressors with a body length of approximately 5.5" (Not including attachment hardware/ interface) such as the Surefire socom556-rc2. These are great for leaving your mags loaded. Takes pressure off the feed lips and keeps dust from getting in. Keep in mind they are for M2 PMAGs. M3 you might have to get straight from Magpul.

These work perfectly as expected. I highly recommend, especially after learning that they are much more than just a dust cover. These covers actually push down the top round in the magazine and prevent any potential deformation of the feed lips on the magazine. I do not live in a dusty environment, but I would definitely buy more in the future, based on the depression of the top round and prevention of deformation of the magazine feed lips.

I cannot get myself to have a loaded magazine, & stowe it w/o a dust cover. They are good, quality pieces, aside.

I bought x2 packs of these, I would have ordered 3 but they're a little pricey. They work great and fit perfect on the top of my magpul mags. These covers allow you to keep your mags loaded, without the worry of oxidation and they keep the rounds safe inside of the magazine, they are durable and allow you to keek your magazines ready to use. It makes me feel better having these on my magazines. They keep dust and dirt out, protect your ammo from shock and are more transferable-durable and discrete. One of the covers in the lot had to be drummeld down to snap in place. This particular cover was a little bit different and had extra polymer on one end. After I figured out this was the reason for the cover not snapping in place, I was able to carefully drummel it out and it fit perfect! No big deal to repair. I would recommend these to anyone and will be buying more.
