Excellent build quality with a premium fit and finish. This thing is incredibly stable. Like most of this companies offerings it’s very precisely made with a premium look and feel to it and all the controls work incredibly smooth. You just hang this off of a window and you’ve got an incredibly stable platform for a camera or an optic.

For the last few years, whenever I wanted to image from my vehicle, i have used a cut pool noodle to cover part of my window. It works pretty well, but only for certain angles, and not that great for panning.I did not hesitate when I saw this product from LEOFOTO. I like the company already and own one of their largest tripods...which is great btw.This is a very well designed and well made accessory. Assembly was pretty straightforward. The height rack system is adjustable, depending on how your door is shaped. I ended up having the 75mm bowl at the highest position.The materials are first rate and the 'arms' are padded nicely with plastic caps on both ends. The bowl itself is fully adjustable from my seated position. With my own ball head attached, I can cover whatever I can view from my window except for pretty much straight up.I took it out for field work a few times...off road...so there was plenty of jostling. Not a single scratch or smudge on my door paint. The stabilizer stayed put perfectly, though I did not ride around with my gear attached. Something I would never do anyways. But once stopped, it takes only a few seconds to attach and start imaging away. If I was on a paved or shell rock road...say in a park...then perhaps I would leave my camera attached. But once parked...gear is attached for the duration.It's so nice to be able to sit with the camera ready to go and not be in my lap. In wildlife photography there is a lot of waiting around, so being able to have my hands and lap free is a game changer.I attached the heaviest lens I own (8lbs.), and the stabilizer did not miss a beat. Rock steady.Best accessory I have ordered in a long time.Recommended!

When Leofoto came on the scene about 10 years ago, they changed the photo accessory business immediately. They make very high quality photo accessories, as in tripods and ball heads and many other items, and they build them well. The biggest to the industry change is that their pricing is very reasonable. They're certainly not cheap, now would I want them to be, but them have forced other manufacturers to provide quality products at a price that will compete with Leofoto.This particular camera mount, is designed to be used in a vehicle, to mount your camera, often with a long lens, and photograph from inside the vehicle. I can attest from experience, that various birds or wildlife, will almost walk or fly up to a vehicle, whereas if you stand next to the vehicle they won't come close. That gives the wildlife photographer an excellent advantage. I have driven many wildlife loops with a vehicle mount and gotten shots I would never have been able to get if I left the vehicle.This particular vehicle mount is made with Leofoto's attention to quality. It is built in three pieces that combine to give you a platform with two hangers to mount on the side or the window of the vehicle, or if you have a convertible, onto the front. The base then is infinitely adjustable and provides a 3/8" screw on a leveling base, to which you can attach a ball head or a fluid head, and then attach your camera and lens.There was a time when a rig like this could easily cost upwards of $800, but today, this Leofoto camera window stabilizer is priced at $189. And its weight capacity of 22 pounds, means my large format camera and 400mm lens, will have no trouble at all being mounted with this rig. I love it!This is a top quality product, from an excellent company known for its products and excellent customer service, and I highly recommend it.
