Good product, temperature is accurate, and display is easy to read. Use in the fridge for the rv. I will purchase a second unit for the freezer.

I, like many "guys' have my best "friend", the basement/garage refrigerator... for ALL my cold, adult beverages...LOL, mine is a 1950's Hotpoint, I got from a neighbor whose Mom passed and had it for years, OBVIOUSLY!... he said you move it it's yours, FREE... that was close to 30 years ago... do the math... LOL... still going strong, I do need to defrost twice a year... DOES anyone remember doing that?... LOL, but the thermometer was priced right, accurate, as far as I can tell.... always wanted to know why my beer was the coldest... because it's @ 40 degrees!!!.. Now I know because of this item! Purchased this thermometer to monitor fridge temp. Works extremely well and is pretty accurate on temperature. Have not used in freezer yet but see no reason for it not to work there. Designed be used standing on its own or hung from shelf..kinda hard to read at a distance but is color marked for proper temperature range.

I use this in my freezer. It works well. The hook to hang it could be a little bigger and better, but otherwise it's fine.

I bought three of these: 2 for my refrigerator/freezer and 1 for my chest freezer. Upon receipt, I lined them up next to an expensive and extremely accurate digital thermometer in my home and left them there overnight. The next morning I took the readings and all three were within 1 degree of the digital thermometer, which read 64.2 degrees. One of these thermometers read 63 degrees, the second one 64 degrees, and the third 65 degrees. Very accurate. I then placed the thermometers in the refrigerator and freezers and have been monitoring the readings for the past several days. They have been displaying consistent readings every day, and have enabled me to adjust the temperature settings on my refrigerator and freezers to achieve the desired temperatures: 38 degrees inside the refrigerator and -4 degrees in the freezers. The thermometers are well made with stainless steel, easy to read, and just the right size. Well worth the price, IMO.

I put this in my RV fridge as I camp a lot in varied elevations and need to adjust frequently to keep it at desired temperature. This is much more convenient than trying to check it with my electronic thermom gun, as it is always in the same place and stable. Although the scale is too gross to say it's "bulls-eye, dead-on", it is very consistent (within the precision of a 2-degree scale) with the electronic gun reading. So, I grab the milk, check the temp at the same time, and adjust the cool setting up or down a click, as needed. Plus it's cheap no takes up no room. Every RV fridge should come with one built-in. Might add 2 bits to the price of a $2500 RV fridge?
