The 4 coupe glasses are very elegant and stylish. I love the gold rims which give them a retro vibe. The glasses are pretty light but they made a nice clink sound…They are definitely glass , not plastic. The glasses are much bigger/wider than I expected…But I love them since they make the perfect cocktail glasses. You can use them on any occasion…Love them!

While these are not everyday glasses, the design isn’t just for Christmas and New Year celebrations. The box has some illustrations of ornaments. The swirly up and down design is not specific for that time of year. The description says retro and I’d say that is quite accurate. The gold color adds to that vibe but really they are versatile.The large width and relatively shallow depth make these glasses especially perfect for margaritas and pĩna coladas. They are not heavy but heavier than I expected which I see as a positive. They tend to be top heavy because of the large upper design. Best to hold these by the bottom of the glass instead of the stem. This may make them more susceptible to tips otherwise. When I flick my finger against the glass, it makes that typical “ting” sound of glass and not the dull thud of some types of thin glass.It he construction and the applied gold decorative edging is uniform and neat. They are packaged well so I’d feel comfortable having them shipped as a gift. Would definitely recommend as a fun addition to a glass collection or for gift giving.

My daughter bought me a set for Christmas and I liked them so much I had to order more. Also bought a set to use year round. My favorite go to wine glasses. Great quality.

They are larger than traditional coupe champagne glasses, so it makes for a great mimosa, mocktail or martini because you can garnish the rim and it not get in the way when you drink. Perfect weight and thickness of rim (thin enough to feel elegant, but thick enough it won't shatter super easily.) They sit balanced on the table well. I only hand-wash because of the delicate stem and I don't want the gold design to fade/peel. The gold design is so beautiful and very unique. If you want to "up your bar game" then get these pretty glasses! (Also, one glass arrived broken, but the company replaced it super quick... I got the replacement in 2 days!)
