I use this for my obstacle training where I have to climb a wall and climb a rope. Those activities when repeated over and over can give a serious pain on my shins. This has thick paddings that protects them well.

This item is a pair of calf compression sleeves with padded shin protection. The combination of compression and targeted padding does seem to provide me with helpful relief from my recurring shin splint pain. These sleeves are actually quite comfortable to wear and they don't slip down during activity. I hate those sleeves that inch down as you move around and have to be adjusted all the time. The compression also helps me when my legs swell up. These sleeves seem to be really well made. They are pretty good at letting my legs breath where they don't get overheated. I even use them for improved circulation when I am standing or sitting too long. I think the price point is reasonable. Overall, these are really helpful sleeves that provide a ton of benefit for my legs. I am quite pleased with them.

These shin sleeves perform double duty, they are in and of themselves compression sleeves with a soft padding on your shin for some nice passive protection without having to wear full on shin guards, and they are an absolute life saver if you have shin splints. The gentle pressure of the pad on your shins feels incredible when you're laid out with shin splints, it's exactly the thing you need in those moments.They're true to size and comfortable. The fabric of the sleeve is fairly breathable, so while they are warm, it is mitigated somewhat.Overall I am a big fan of these sleeves, they work great for shin splints and work well as compression sleeves.

The 1st picture in the ad looks like 2 different sleeves. The one on the right (person's left leg) has a plastic 'guard'. That is not how these are. They are like the other leg.These shin sleeves seem very well made. I'm 5'6" and they are just long enough. My son is 6'2" and they are not long enough for him. The size large are about 11" long. $20 for the pair is a good price.

This is super comfortable to wear, and it actually feels like the compression helps my legs! I wore to sleep, wore it to shop, and wore it to work without any issues. I have been wearing this as much as I could cause I enjoy it so much.

these calf compression sleeves seem to be well made and have decent padding, but after a few minutes i had to remove them. They were just too tight on me, beware of the sizing, i am not a big guy nor are my legs. I ordered extra large so they wouldn't be super tight, but they still were very uncomfortable for me.
