I got these so my mom could notify me if she needed assistance after breaking a hip. I got the one with the watch and the 2 that go around the neck thinking the watch would work for her too. The watch was too big and bulky so if I ordered again I would just get the "pendant" one. It has 2 settings. An obnoxious doorbell sound and a buzzer or just vibration, which makes plenty of noise to be able to hear it.

Worth the money. We have had to use it twice since purchase and it worked well. My mother has fallen 3 times in the last few weeks, and this came in handy because I didn't hear her fall. I was able to get to her quickly and take care of her. The only issue I have is the clip that I can attach the receiver to on my waistband does not stay on. Instead, I just keep in my pocket and turn the volume up.

Bought to use with my 93 year old mom. Really good product if you’re caring for a love one. Range is good which allows a caregiver to give patient personal space. I absolutely loved it to be used while I was sleeping allowing mom to contact me in an emergency- definitely buzzer loud enough to wake me.

My mother is paralyzed from West Nile Encephalitis with severe insomnia. Her night nurse aids threatened to quit because it rings too loudly for 90 seconds. There was no way to turn it down to a reasonable volume for the middle of the night. One of the nurse aids claimed she had to go to the ER for high blood pressure due to the sound. Of course it's probably more likely that they prefer ignoring my mother when she calls out for help.

Bought for a client to use that uses a wheelchair and has aids due to mobility issues. He has trouble getting their attention at night or when the aids are outside so I bought this so he could alert them when he needed assistance. Works really well when the aids don't turn it off because they don't like listening to it which renders it useless. Wish they had different sounds.
