Have always had waterbed mattresses that were not waveless. This mattress is good quality and virtually wave-free

The late Norm MacDonald once did a bit about cliff divers. He said there were only two kinds. Grand Champions and stuff on a rock. The same goes for waterbeds. Its either the one of the most comfortable beds you've ever slept on, or its a boat that leaks. Unfortunately, this one is the latter. Immediately after filling the bed I noticed small pools of water. I patched the first pinhole as soon as the repair kit came and discovered there is still a leak (I hope only one more) somewhere on the underside, which has been very hard to find without draining. I've had two previous beds over the last 35 years and no leak until recently when the second one inevitably began to harden and leak after over 20 years. I mistakenly thought leaks were incredibly rare. With this bed right out of the box two or more leaks from this product. I can either find and patch the leaks and live with it, or drain the bed, try to get all the water out (not an easy task) buy a box and ship it back and hope the next one doesn't leak. The bed itself is quite comfortable but looking at other customers issues along with my experience, you're rolling the dice if you buy it. This has been a very frustrating experience and would not recommend this bed.

I replaced an old mattress with this because of leaks after many years of service. The new mattress Is was very thin in comparison to old mattress. It was a perfect fit and easy to place in the wood frame. The reduced motion is good.
