This waterbed mattress was comfortable, but not comforting to our thoughts because of having its STRONG FLAME RETARDENT bombard our entire home! We had to use a plastic fitted cover over it to ward off only a little of the chemical odor. We have used waterbeds for over 20 years and have never had an experience like this. We would walk into the house and wonder what that odor was because we could smell it even out in the loving room. In summer months from June on when we bought it, we hadn't noticed the smell being through the rest of the house. It became extremely strong after the AC went off during the Fall months. That is when we called the company who manufactured it and sent two emails to them asking for solutions. No Response! Their website is ridiculous because it shows no information on what materials the product is from. And this is a company that is supposed to represent the United States of America! We were proud to purchase a product from our own nation and had high expectations for its quality! This product's bad quality and especially the lack of concern by the manufacture to the consumer are very bad examples to other nations!We had no choice but to purchase another waterbed mattress from a different company after only owning this one for 3.5 months. This time we talked on the phone to a wholesale company and told them we only want a quality mattress that does not have flame retardant and that does not have any chemical smell. The one we got has a faint plastic smell that will dissipate in time we believe. I am wondering too if it could be because we ordered one that has reinforcements within the tube. An older one we have has no reinforcements and has not odor whatsoever. Just wondering.Anyway, do you research and consider next time to call and talk to a human being telling them just what you are looking for and I hope it is stink-free!

This mattress is so comfy with just the perfect amount of support for me! I have fibromyalgia and it is difficult to find a bed that is comfortable. I wake upfeeling refreshed and my muscles aren’t stiff because of the warmth and the support of this mattress. I highly recommend!

Easy to set up. My husband is having back problems, and hasn't been sleeping. Last night on the new mattress, was a dream for him. He said the lumbar support is perfect. Thank you for getting it to us so quickly.

90% waveless? No. I'd say more like 70%, and mine is very full for the firmness I need. It has 2 fill/empty ports, which is nice. My previous wb mattress (25 years ago) was a thicker poly than this one, and it truly was 90% waveless. Something that I will shop for next time. Had this for a couple of months now, no leaks or problems so far, but I can't get the firmness that I desire.
