Cal-Flor Scratchcure repair pens are great for quick and easy touch-ups of scratches on laminate or wood flooring and furniture. These Maple colored pens come in shades that are buildable, meaning they start out light and more strokes brings darker color. If you draw outside the lines, you're in luck! These pens have a longer drying time so unwanted marks can be wiped away! Scratchcure also features two different tip sizes, so no matter the size job, you'll have the right tool. Directions: clean area clear of dust and debris. Select the tip that will fit the damaged area the best. Lightly color area until color match is achieved. Tips & tricks: for lighter colors start with one coat at a time, wiping with dry cloth between applications. For darker colors multiple coats will be needed, buff color between coats with a dry cloth or towel to ensure even color saturation. Dabbing with the pen tip will darken areas even more. Non-toxic: great for toys and hobby projects! Multiple colors are available. Not sure what color to choose? Pick a lighter color, you can always build to a darker finish. Not the exact color? No problem! Different Scratchcure pens can be blended together to create any color.

I have Mohawk gray wood-toned laminate flooring that needed some minor touch ups. I saw this product advertised and sold on the Mohawk website so assumed it was the best product for the job. I subsequently found it for less on Amazon so bought it here. I’ll admit I didn’t read reviews since Mohawk recommended it. I tried using it on a couple of minor nicks in the flooring and there was literally no change. I tried rubbing, dabbing, waiting and reapplying, but it never covered at all. I then tried it on a couple of spots on a light gray-colored wood table that had some minor paint chips. Nothing! I tried it on a piece of paper and it did leave a faint gray marking. I assumed the pen must simply be dried out and arranged a replacement through Amazon. The second marker performed exactly as the first one did, on both my floor and table: absolutely nothing! It did make a light gray mark on paper as the previous one did. Perhaps if you have the faintest superficial rub mark on a matching colored laminate floor, it might provide some subtle improvement, but forget about even considering it for anything else. I would highly recommend not wasting any time or money on this product.

I recently moved into a new home. The flooring is sort of a barn wood look LVP floor, which I love. But I noticed there were a couple of places that had scratches that caught my eye every time I swept or vacuumed. I purchased this scratch pen in WALNUT, which seemed to be the closest color online. I was skeptical about how well the color would work, since you can see there is a wide variation of color on my floor. I'm VERY pleased with the results! Here are before and after pictures so you can judge for yourself. This is basically like using a sharpie pen and it seems to dry pretty quickly, so I'd definitely recommend only marking small areas at a time (maybe 1.5 inches) before you "buff" the mark. I just used a paper towel and it seemed to work fine. If you don't buff it, it will look like you've drawn a line on your floor. I would definitely recommend this product!

Batalle demasiado para la aplicación... se usa fácil... pero es más complicado de lo que parece... de ahí en más... cumple el producto pero hay mejores en el mercado...

We have dark vinyl plank flooring in a large part of our home. We had some scratches in one place from furniture and a few other spots that needed fixed. I found this among many others online but most others say for wood or laminate, this was the only one that mentioned using it on vinyl in the actual product description. I was still a little skeptical since the vinyl is so slick and made of different material than laminate/wood. Boy was I amazed! It was TOO easy to apply and worked like a charm! I can't speak for durability because I just recently used it but it was so quick and easy to use I won't mind reapplying if necessary. Flooring is expensive and the last thing you want is it to look bad. Replacing/repairing is nearly out of the question or hard to do with most of this lock in place stuff and with three kids and three dogs- its pretty much inevitable. So knowing this cheap little, effective, safety net exists gives me great peace of mind!

I have an espresso colored vinyl couch that folds down into a futon, and over the years our guests have scratched it up with keys, computers, odd other pointy bits. The other day I discovered yet another long scratch, and so I resolved to find a way to cover the damage. After an hour reading about all these polish products you have to blend and paint onto the vinyl, I shook my head, thinking it just wasn't worth it.Then I found this pen. For under 10 bucks, I thought I'd give it a shot just to see if it helped. Well, the pen arrived 20 minutes ago and now my couch looks GREAT. The lighting in the room it's in isn't great (and so it shall remain) but honestly? From where I sit looking at it, I can't see a single scratch. 1-3 coats depending on the scratch all but erased them, and now my vinyl couch looks awesome. No mixing, no muss, no fuss - just drawing some lines and wiping with a paper towel.Highly recommended if you have a dark vinyl piece with lots of light scratches.

It does the job. It won't replace a lay of painting, but it helps to hide scratches.

This really did the job for me. I have "luxury vinyl" (Pergo) floors that are meant to look like wood but aren't. Anyway, this pen is great, even to camouflage deep scratches. I cleaned the scratch with a microfiber cloth and then did as the instructions said and went over the scratch, one coat at a time, buffing in between coats. Obviously, it's not gonna work miracles. It's not gonna completely repair scratches but it does camouflage them well enough. Those floors scratch easily, so if you have them, this pen is a must. I like that you can build the color/buff the color off of the actual floor so it only settles in the scratch where it needs to. I used this on some pretty deep scratches and you can't even tell they were ever there. First photo is taken when I'd just began. I'd already filled in a little section before I decided to document it. Second photo is one coat on half of it so you can still see where the line is. Final photo is the entire scratch filled in.
