Purity the best you can ask for without paying a ton. Upon opening was about 92% CaO, 6% CaCO3, 2% CaO2H2. Reasonable since the others are what CaO becomes when exposed to air (i.e. CO2, H2O). If you heat this to 150 C for a couple hours it should be 94-95% pure, if you heat it to 500 C or 600 C and leave it for long enough you can probably get 99+% purity.
