Stars off for seller shipping it horribly!!!!! They folded up the box and shipped it in a weak bag to be cheap. Calcifer should have been shipped in his box for better protection.

I got this for my husband for our 14th wedding anniversary and he loves it! It was larger than I expected and very bright when the light is turned on. It looks amazing and my husband couldn't be more happy with it.

Shipping was a bit longer than for most things off of Amazon. And my Calcifer didn’t come with the box advertised. However he was safely delivered, and the light works well enough for me. For the price you really can’t beat it, compared to other Studio Ghibli merchandise.

First, this item showed up as LOST in Amazon's shipment tracker. That was after 4 weeks. Amazon did refund the cost.However, it showed up today. The seller shipped it in one of the thin "bags" that amazon sometimes uses (not the padded blue and white envelopes, but the thin plastic like a trash bag) so it was crushed when it arrived.We did manage to get it out of the crushed box, and it looks like it functions, but nothing like the pictures and descriptions describe. First, the light glows very dimly and does not reveal any of the yellow and orange colors shown in the picture. It is a dim solid red. Additionally, the light does not flicker at all. in fact, the only "flickering" was when we turned it over and an obvious bad electrical connection caused the light to go out.This is junk, regardless if you like Howl's Moving Castle or not.

First of all, my delivery was a week and a half late and there was no updated tracking information. Thankfully, Amazon stepped in and gave me a refund for my troubles. When the package finally arrived it was a complete mess. There was no protective bubble wrap or outer box. The product box was crushed and the plastic inside was cracked. Miraculously though, the lamp itself was not damaged. It’s smaller and lighter weight than I expected but it glows nicely and has pretty good detail. Even though I was lucky to receive my product undamaged, I would never order from this seller again.

While the flame lamp is very cool, he is crossed wired in mine. But the outside works wonders.
